I have three pair of Vanguard binoculars - 8.5x45, 8x36, and 8x32. This particular size (8x36) with ED glass is very comfortable to use and has become my favorites. Vanguard binoculars are exceptional quality and I believe the image sharpness rivals that of binoculars costing five times more. I have compared these to my friends Zeiss binoculars costing over two grand and IF there is any difference in image quality, it is not apparent to me.

Great binoculars!!

I own lots of binoculars costing a lot more than these. The 12x50 are my favorite. I keep them next to my desk overlooking a huge harbor and use them every day. They are light and waterproof and high quality.
