Easy set up

This easel is easy to assemble, and fold and put back it. After receiving the goods, the child can freely assemble. He has realized the child's oil painting design. It also provides a great showcase for your artwork! It's not the cheapest, but I think its quality is better.

Great quality, good price and holds large canvases.

Exactly what I needed. Collapsible, Light weight, and hold large canvases. I use it for simple paint by number canvases, if you a very experienced artist who uses heavier canvases this probably wouldn’t work. Reading the reviews it was unclear to me whether it would hold a vertical 36”x 24” canvas, but I can tell it does- very well. Not sure why people were saying it doesn’t.

steady, easy adjust and move

I bought this to stand a welcome sign for event. It’s steady and easy to adjust for our different size poster and easy to move as well. Good!

Really nice easel stand!

I first brought the black one for my daughter because she just recently started sketching in her sketchbook. She loved it so much that I decided to get another for my son who's also starting to sketch. The stand is super easy to set up and it doesn't wobble when they draw on it (with the sketch pad). It's also super convenient that it came with a bag to store when they're done with using it. Would definitely recommend!

Buy this, you’ll use it over and over

I Purchased this easel to display a welcome sign at my best friends bridal shower. I couldn’t be more happy with it, and I’m definitely keeping it to use for future events. It was super easy to put together, offered many different options to customize height, and the travel case made it so easy to store. Light weight and stable.

Very light weight and surprisingly sturdy. I was looking for a product that was inexpensive yet stable. Also I wanted something that I could elevate it to six feet and this was the only one that could get this high. Once I set it up, I was pleasantly surprised that it was quite stable. Set up was pretty easy. I didn't use directions, and I'm not sure it even had any. Once I set it up, I put a canvas on it and it held the canvas well. Its stability was almost surprisingly good. Excellent for traveling, because it's so light. I think I would recommend it to friends who are beginning painters. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try their hand at painting.

Travel With This Easel on Planes, Trains, & Automobiles Plus Backpacking, Hiking, Bicycling

This is a near perfect easel if you need to easily travel with an easel for your artwork. I own studio and single mast easels and of course this is not as stable as those...however this weighs 1.5 lbs and goes into my carry on vs 25-45 lbs and doesn't fit in a standard sedan. There are a few issues that you need to be aware of... 1. The bottom bracket supporting the canvas has adjusting screws that seem to be fragile. I feel if I overtighten them, they would break. However for heavier canvas frames or drawing surfaces, you need to still tighten them firmly or it will slip down and unlevel the canvas. 2. This is a tripod design with no angle locking mechanisms at the joints...so you have flexibility in adjusting the spread of the tripod legs. However any dog, cat or kid can easily tip it over unlike a studio easel. 3. Firmly drawing or painting heavy brush strokes will still move the canvas but not so much as you lose control. I have no concern about the canvas or drawing surface falling off the tripod. It is a stable design from that perspective. Overall I still rate this product with 5 stars because its high value of cost, weight, compactness, ease of assembly and folding up for travel.
