Really useful and good quality, I like it

I am not usually one to leave reviews unless I am extremely happy or totally frustrated with a product. With the windmill slicer I was pleasantly surprised by how they were able to improve over the other slicers out there. Last month I was gifted a generic watermelon slicer (all steel), only to struggle and eventually end up cutting myself in the process and breaking the wire! I was frustrated because I love watermelon and so do my kids however cutting it with a knife always ended with a mess in the kitchen. One day I saw this windmill slicer at my friends house and was impressed. Ordered it through amazon, then waiting this beautifully designed product, the watermelon slicer was came on time, extra fast delivery. I was thrilled to open the box and have a try. It arrived in a cardboard box with helpful photos on the back to demonstrate how to use the slicer properly. The handle on this new watermelon slicer is by far the most comfortable one I have used, it is very well made and allowed me to slice watermelons into pieces with ease. The stainless steel will not rust after used many times and easy to wash. I think the word is ergonomic and wonderful. I've discovered that it works on regular melons too and enjoy that the slices are pretty even shapes and I'm not fiddling about with bendy sharp knives trying to release the flesh from the hard skin.The watermelon slicer makes it all much more of a safe exercise.It keeps the mess at bay and is handy for lifting out slices from the half globe of the melon and then transferring to a serving plate or dish. You can then serve as is or chop up the slices into smaller chunks if you prefer. Easy to clean, I'm finding that a quick swoosh through hot or cold washing up water is fine to clean it thoroughly. I store it in a cutlery drawer along with other kitchen utensils but you could keep it in its box if it is only used infrequently. Nice novelty gadget for the kitchen,very good value for the price. Summer best tool with watermelon This would make a suitable gift for someone who is keen on eating fruit,imagine a basket of fresh fruit plus this special fruit slicer!I especially like our watermelon,feta cheese,black olive and fresh mint salads,they always go down a treat and are such a refreshing savoury salad too. Just amazing and handy product

With this really hot weather I have been buying watermelons and I just discovered that it is special watermelon slicer cutter so I decided to give it a go and I must say it is worth it, saves time and it’s less messier than cutting it with a normal knife. it comes just as in the picture so definitely good value for the money!

Hello Friends... I am feeling really good in writing the review of the great product I have received from Amazon. It is a watermelon slicer. As during the summer season, variety of fruits come and it is advisable to eat plenty of fruits to get the nutrition and keep yourself hydrated. Writing about my own experience, I love all kind of melons..... but.... sometimes cutting the big fruits and keeping them in containers is a big job.... and then cleaning up all the mess afterwards is another big job. This kind of watermelon slicer is a great tool in the kitchen. I bet every person in the kitchen will love it, it is very easy to work with, easy to clean, very safe, and above all you can improve your creativity. If you kids at home, this tool can work as a great friend or guide to improve kids nutrition. As I have tried this on my 3 year old son by cutting the watermelon and served him with a fork. To my surprise, he ate many pieces of watermelons. I was very happy and I think all mothers are same, they feel happy when kids eat nutritious diet. The slicer is useful in serving but most important job of this slicer is to cut the watermelon in same smooth slices. If you have this great pair of tool in the kitchen, you can enjoy most kind of the melons in a creative way and can get lovely compliments from people whom you will serve them. just enjoy it. It is actually a lot of fun. u will love it. I would say that this tool is very comfortable to use, safe to use as it is easy to handle. Wonerfel Product, I like it very much

The melon slicer arrives in a simple box containing the slicer. The box has usage instructions and pictures printed on it. This is made of fairly light but sturdy metal (says stainless iron) similar to many kitchen utensils and looks as though it will withstand a bit of a bashing. There were no issues in transit. PRODUCT - The slicer looks like a windmill,it has a plastic bar with stainless steel at the hand part, so it is easy to hold. There is a handle part, a scale(0-2cm) for measuring the thickness of a watermelon and then a healthy plastic windmill end which could cut the watermelon into pieces. OPERATION - Cut watermelon in half and then use the slicer push into the watermelon, in a couple of seconds you've got many pieces of melon. Easy, no where near as messy as other methods and the slice lifts out quickly and easily. Cleans with the water and leave to dry, easy to store.

I purchased this watermelon slicer. Premium quality slicer value for myself because I love to throw parties and I like making beautiful things so that my quest are happy and intrigued. The watermelon slicer works flawlessly. You don't lose any of the watermelon that way. I also tried it on the melon and it worked not as good as the watermelon but still is a good use. The price is amazing great value. The melon slicer is perfect. So easy to use and it makes a super special treat. As you can see how beautiful you can make treats for your guest and your kids. The melon slicer is a cutter that makes the designs. I could never so that with a knife. It is so easy to use and it goes into the watermelon simply. Even my nine year old son could use it. Just used this watermelon cutter and love it! Eliminates so much mess! Still need a little practice to get better looking squares but am very pleased with it!

Great item

I bought this item for my own personal use. When got this thinking it may work OK, but it is great. I have now used the windmill slicer a number of times and have found it to be excellent. Did a melon in less than a few minutes first time used it. No hassle. Takes a bit of effort to do the scoop action but it makes it alot easier. fab love it. I also found the price of the item to be fantastic and I will be recommending this product to other watermelon lovers. Best buy I have made for some time.

Perfect, love this watermelon slicer

Love this watermelon slicer, it’s so easy to use & being disabled and having to sit down while trying to slice an watermelon before was hectic & unsafe, now it’s so much easier, cleaner and a lot safer. You don’t even need to push down hard on the slicer it’s that good, highly recommend .
