I bought this selector for testing my diamond rings. LOL Cuz i am afraid that if the diamonds on my rings are all genuine. Fortunately, i got all diamonds not genuine on my diamond rings. Good tester for diamond

I have couple of diamond accessories, a ring and an earring, I always do know whether those diamonds are with high clarity and high grade. The tool is easy to use and could tell you whether it is indeed good quality diamond.

Great product

I bought a storage unit that had a bunch of jewlery but wanted to test them myself before taking them anywhere to sell and get ripped off. Its a little hard to use at first but it did exactly as described once i figured it out. It was very accurate and it helped let me know that some of what i found were real diamonds!

This diamond selector works very well! I had some jewelry and I couldn't remember which was diamond and which wasn't. This cleared it right up. And the bonus lighted magnifier is awesome! I had no idea my jewelry was SO dirty. Oops!

Good device for the money.

Have been a professional jeweler for over 20 years and have owned a number of diamond testers. This one works as well as testers I've owned that cost 10 times more. We now have testers at the check-out counters, repair intake station, and my briefcase. One thing, turn it on, let it warms up then turn the wheel back til the beeping stops. Thats where it should be to test diamonds.

Good tool for jewelry student

I am a beginner to intermediate jewelry student. I work with a lot of gemstones and I'm always curious whether the cheap stones i buy online are actually real! This is a bit complicated to use but seems to work well once you figure it out. First off you need a 9v battery. Then you have to take the black rubber tip off. When using the device you have to have your bare hands touch the metal plate on the back so it's conductive. I like the mini tray with indentations that it comes with so you can set smaller stones onto it to test. Just test it perpendicular to the stone, not just touching any part. And pay attention to the directions since size of stone and ambient temp also affects it!
