This is the endoscope / borescope to get. The many benefits / features over the older types are: 5.5 mm ultra-thin head can go into many more spaces due to constrictions. The older endoscopes uses 8.5 mm to 12.0 mm heads. Video sharpness from 1 inch to 16 inches. Then can zoom closer for more details. The older ones are only viewable within 1.5 inches and the picture is not sharp like this borescope. 6 hours running time with the enclosed Li-on battery. LED recharging rate with 3 lights. The other endoscopes uses the phone battery. No where close to 6 hours when on full brightness. Replaceable battery, too. WiFi easy connection for recording on your iPad / iPhone or Android. Semi stiff yet still flexible long cord so you can go further into objects, not the wimpy older type endoscope.

Great tool!

I just received this product and I was excited to put it to work. I needed to inspecting the stud space behind drywall before I started a project. I can also see this tool being infinitely useful for a large variety of projects around the house as well as fun things like looking at the bottom of a glass of water or under the refrigerator for that coin I dropped last week! First, the unit was very simple to get up and running. The battery was almost fully charged when I received it, so it was ready to go. I was able to get the wifi connected on the first try, and the signal was quite strong, ~-45 dBm - plenty strong to achieve and maintain connectivity. The connection stayed strong even with my iPhone up to 10 feet away from the unit. The flexible, yet rigid scope was very easy to maneuver into the wall space and I was easily able to manipulate it to accommodate the viewpoints I needed. I was able to capture both video and stills while inside the wall for later reference. The scope is very easy to maneuver but as you extend it out, it gets a little more challenging to control, but that's just physics - and because the scope is so long (and therefore more useful!), it's actually not a bad thing. The light on the unit was powerful enough to illuminate the space well up to about a foot away - plenty for what I needed - and the light level was adjustable for close-up work. The zoom feature was definitely useful, but I found that just moving the scope closer to the target yielded better results. I changed the resolution to 1600x1200 and found it to be more than sufficient for my needs. It's not 4K TV by any means, but the image quality is more than sufficient to do what you need it to do. Overall, the unit seems very solid and well-made. The zoom, scope light level buttons are on the main unit and easily accessible with your thumb. The buttons have a nice tactile response and feel very solid. (And as a bonus, there is a flashlight built into the front of the unit!) In conclusion, this is a very solid unit. It's easy to use and it's infinitely useful. Depstech products seem to get good reviews, and this product is no exception.

Small Endoscope with WiFi and image zoom!

Am amazed at how small the camera head is on this unit. It can snake into very small openings and it's water resistant! I used it find a blockage in one of my drain pipes. Worked out well. It is wireless with a built in battery which makes it very easy to handle. The image quality is good and it has a great zoom capability which most others do not. The various tips provided with the camera, screw onto the camera head unlike most others which clip onto the camera head. No more lost tips - yeah! There is a "record" button on the WiFi handle that allows very convenient option to record the images. The WiFi handle also has a built in LED illumination. Would recommend this to anyone looking for an endoscope camera at a very reasonable price.

Just received this and have been playing with it. Great packaging. Simple operation with good user manual. Super satisfied with this. Excellent build quality.

Professional quality and Features

I am a former engineer and this endoscope worked perfectly right out of the box. The Depths Tech app is also very well integrated and user-friendly. I would recommend this do any technician that needs to investigate hard to get to places.

I'm Impressed with Depstech

I own a WF010 and have enjoyed much useful service from it. I upgraded to this scope because of the added features Depstech has incorporated. The smaller camera head, the high capacity battery, the zoom feature and the photo button all make this scope a superior product. Depstech is so confident in their product they have given this a 3 year warranty! I highly recommend this item. Depstech folks are serious about customer service and satisfaction. They actually emailed me through Amazon and asked if I was satisfied with their product!

Best wireless Endoscope!!!!

It have a small camera can fit most places with high quality video/picture. Is amazing the zoom in/out. I have a galaxy S10 works perfect with wifi connection. I recommend this Endoscope for any jobs you need to see in places difficult to reach. I'm very happy with this....

Great Customer Service

I originally purchased a different product from this company. After spending a few hours downloading different apps, etc I returned it. I'm pretty good with stuff and it just didnt work. I tried all the tricks online. A week or so later, their customer service reached out and suggested I try this one. I recieved it literally 5 minutes ago and I am already using it. Has a good quality picture and feels much higher quality that the other one I bought. I am very happy with their customer service and the new product. This will be a very useful tool for me and I appreciate a company that wants to make sure you are happy.

Very nice scope

Unit is very compact. Softwtare loaded easily in i-phone and instantly showed images from endoscope. Images are very high resolution as seen on i-phone X. The depth of field is quite large and there are three zoom setings. The only problem was the software. I was not able to close the application by the normal swipe motion. This happened on both the i-phone and I-pad. I had to shut own completely and reboot to get the app to close.
