These are strong and stick well. The only issue is they are thin. So if your knife handle is especially thick, the blade won't be able to make full contact. My knife handles are almost too thick, but this product does work for me. If you stack two on top of each other, that may accomodate thicker handles. I put it on the inside of my cabinet door and it working great so far! The value is good for my use.

I stuck one of the two I got up and I'll be honest, I don't expect it'll survive me pulling it down and moving with it (I'm a renter right now). That said, it was like $5 for two of these, so, for that price, I really don't care if it doesn't come down nicely and move. I'll pay $5 again if I have to, lol. I don't recommend putting it right on drywall- if you're renting use contact paper as a backsplash or something and put this over it. But yeah, it's up on my wall, and is holding 5 knives and some heavy-duty kitchen shears up right now. Edit- NOPE, these are bad, they've fallen down a few times now. I've tried putting them up with stronger tape, no go. Just save the $5 and put it toward buying real ones.

We needed a storage solution in the camper kitchen and I found some ideas on Pinterest which led me to Amazon to find the products. These are a great price so I went ahead and ordered them. Once I got them, I cleaned the wall with alcohol really well, allowed it to dry, and then stuck these to it. They have held well even with the weight of the knives. The magnet is strong enough to hold everything, too. We used one strip for knives, and another strip near the table which we also use as a desk (camper is used for working on the road) and use magnetic clips to hold important papers, business card contact info, bills due, etc. I have several other ideas for these useful tools, too!

This adhesive was so easy to put in wall, and it holds perfectly without worrying that I will accidentally cut myself pulling the knives.

We rent a small apartment and do not have much kitchen space for a traditional knife holder. This strip came so handy. We did not have to drill into a wall- just sticked it. Holds up well and the magnetic strenght is enough to hold up 4 of our knives. I recomment this to anyone who needs to save kitchen space but does not want to ruin their tiles.

These magnets are wonderful. I had no idea what I was getting into by ordering these, but I am SO glad I did! I have cement blocks for walls and wanted to hang my collection of cheese knives/spreaders. I was very skeptical about these adhering and staying to the walls. I put one up and let it "cure" for 24 hours before attempting to stick anything to it. I fully expected it to fall during the overnight hours. It didn't! So I waited another 24 hours....still stuck. I hung 8 cheese knives/spreaders, of various weights, on the magnet, and they are all still hanging there! Not one has fallen, and the magnet is just as I originally placed it, no slipping/sliding. I wish I had thought this idea earlier...I have a lot of spreaders/knives to display. I am going back to order more! I highly recommend these to anyone wanting to display items. UPDATE: I ordered 5 more sets of these since they work so well. Only bad thing is: they did not hold to my cement wall. After 7-8 days, the magnet fell along with my cheese knives. So they are now on the side of my refrigerator, where they hold just fine since it's a perfect surface for this. I still recommend these even though they didn't stay on the cement.

Using in kitchen for knives and scissors on tile. Very small kitchen with not much counter space so these magnetic strips are great!

This magnet works pretty well. I found it depended on the ferrous object I wanted to use, mainly the shape. It held my files and scissors easily along with a small hammer. I was surprised at the amount of weight it held. I loved being able to pull off the strip on the adhesive and place it on my bench. Super easy. I cleaned the area with alcohol first. Beats getting out the drill and putting holes in the wood.

This is my 2nd & 3rd set of Magnetic Strips (each set has 2 strips)...now I have 6 strips. I am using them to hold my kitchen prep knives on the side of my refrigerator. This frees up space in my utensil drawer and helps me get rid of two knife blocks that were taking up space on my counter. My fridge is near my kitchen sink and with all of my prepping knives (paring knives, butcher knives, bread knives, etc.) in full view, I don't have to go hunting in a drawer for the knife I need at the moment. I am using 4 magnetic strips to hold all of my prepping knives. I plan on using the other set of 2 to hold screwdrivers and/or pliers when I can find a spot for them...perhaps in the laundry room on the side of the washer/dryer. Please note that once you have them in a position for more than a month, it is difficult to take them down or re-position them. You must allow the adhesive backing to re-gain its purpose before placing any metallic object on the strip...my 1st two strips fell after I moved them so I put them back up and waited 2 days before putting any knives on them.

I ordered this to try but really not expecting to use it all that much. I didn't expect it to hold the knives well and figured it was one of those ideas that sounds good but is functionally a waste of time. But actually, I love it! I've used it so much since I got it and it is so much more convenient than using the knife block (always in the way) or the drawer (across the room from the stove). So glad I tried this!
