Cheap and effective!

these worked exactly as I needed them to! they are very strong (getting them apart was a task) but once they were free they worked for keeping my curtains against the sides of the window/wall to prevent light coming through. I have way more than I need which is great because I'm sure I can find a use for these super heavy duty magnets

Strong and not fragile!

These magnets are a very strong to the point where you don't want to put two of them face to face or will be a tough day getting them apart... I have a couple screwed to the sides of my cabinets to hold tools. I attached some short pieces of wood so I can pull them off of whatever I put them on to (think of a dart). I've used them on the table saw like this as a stop block so I could make repeatable cuts with my miter gauge. I also use them on the refrigerator and you can put many, many pieces of paper behind them! Out of the 24, I believe I purchased, I have not broken or even chipped or cracked any of them. If you have say a shed door that won't stay closed due to the wind or the construction of it, these magnets would definitely hold the door closed. A magnet on one side and a screwed on washer to the other side would hold the door shut even in heavy wind. The face of these magnets are where the strength comes from, the sides and back are not very magnetized due to it being inside of a metal cup.

These magnets are so strong! They are going to do great at holding up a cover over our fireplace to keep little ones out.

Wow!!!

Holy moly!!! These are way stronger than I was expecting!!! I learned from another purchase of these kind of magnets (they were not as strong as these) be careful!!! They will brake if you do not handle them correctly. Put a layer of duct tape on them to help not shatter them and don't get pinched!!!

Very strong

These magnets are very strong. Maybe Very is not descriptive enough. You have to be careful when trying to keep them apart from each other. If any other metal is nearby either the magnet will move towards it or the item will move towards the magnet. Careful to not get fingers between. I especially appreciated the provided screws that were not attracted to the magnet. This made mounting the magnets very easy.

Definitely worth it if you need very strong, small magnets

Very strong magnets. The screws make their ability to support a heavy weight much more reliable. I've hung some tools from them as well as several removable plywood panels and they work great.
