I did the work so that you don't have to...
Are you a sommelier in all things sticky? Do you get a little gitty about duct tapes, gorilla glues and the like? Then GREAT news, these things are like reusable super-glue that is EXTREMELY fragile and require care to avoid pointy ends going into your fleshy parts. If you read that and are a little freaked out that you might forget, don't worry the magnet pack comes with a warning help remind you that magnets stick to stuff and break...whew! If you know a bit about magnets or the faux stuff then be assured this is the real deal. They are Neodymium and are incredibly strong and more importantly hold their properties in all kinds of climates for long long long periods of time. IF YOU DON'T KNOW, NOW YOU KNOW: -Keep away from credit cards and electronics, unless you like to replace stuff. -Compared to other offerings I found in the browsing jungles of the Amazon these were almost the best and really make more sense than the best in a lot of ways. -You CAN slide them apart but you CANNOT pry them apart, less you hurt yourself. Remember magnets are strong in situations that require pull strength but weak on slide strength so use that information to keep them from shattering and keep you from a mess or worse. If you want more durable magnets or something your kid can play with then these are Definitely not the right choice. If you just want to save some money you can get smaller or less magnetic magnets but like less magnetic people you might be left wanting.

Wow!!!
Holy moly!!! These are way stronger than I was expecting!!! I learned from another purchase of these kind of magnets (they were not as strong as these) be careful!!! They will brake if you do not handle them correctly. Put a layer of duct tape on them to help not shatter them and don't get pinched!!!

These are strong.
I got these and some of the 3mm thick ones. These are much stronger magnetically than the 3mm ones as well as physically stronger than the 3mm ones. I had some of the 3mm ones click together and break really easily. The 5mm once have survived unbroken in similar instances. Not to call them strong as any of the magnets like this are brittle but these due to the thickness are definitely less likely to easily break. Go to use in a knife holder and these are strong enough to hold a large knife through an 1/16th to an 1/8 inch of wood where the 3mm once couldn't or were struggling.

Incredibly strong magnets.
These are the strongest magnets I've ever handled. They are so strong, that I had to use a heavy duty pry-bar blade to separate them, even with the plastic spacers that they came with, in between the bars. Even after attaching the double sided tape, I decided to put them back together again for storage. I was afraid to attempt putting them back together again, because the magnetic field between the magnets was so strong, that it would smash my fingers between them, if I was not careful. Now my concern is that the magnetic field will be stronger than the double sided tape adhesion. I do not believe that the double sided tape is strong enough to keep the magnets in place, when attaching something metal to them. Update: As I suspected, the double sided tape is nowhere near as strong as the magnets. After just about 1 hour, the item I hung with the new magnets fell to the ground, when the tape pulled away from the surface it was attached to.

Cheap and effective!
these worked exactly as I needed them to! they are very strong (getting them apart was a task) but once they were free they worked for keeping my curtains against the sides of the window/wall to prevent light coming through. I have way more than I need which is great because I'm sure I can find a use for these super heavy duty magnets

Perfect.
I saw many reviews depicting mental images of these magnets crumbling, and just basically being bad. That's entirely false. Now, granted, if you have little to no knowledge in what's up with magnets, Yeah, sure, you're probably gonna wind up maybe breaking one or two figuring them out, how to seperate them, and how to not hurt yourself by accidentally allowing 2 to get too close to each other, and snapping together over a tiny bit of painful skin. BUT. If you're even slightly familiar with magnets, then these are just perfect. They are very strong. They are not hard to slide apart. Their magnetic field is just about perfect or anything you'd want to use them for and not large enough to be hard to manage, leaving very little fear of destroying precious tech by mistake somehow. I actively TRIED to break these magnets and failed every single time, until i finally got out my dremel, and cut several in half so that i would have EVEN MORE MAGNETS!! Even the shock of the dremel overheating the magnets to a degree, and me dropping them in the process several times didn't damage them. 11/10 would reccomend. Do not buy if you don't have strong hands, or someone nearby with strong hands, as sliding them apart without dividers can be difficult without strength.

Great refrigerator magnets!
These are almost too strong, but that is great. I was able to safely separate the magnets from each other without hurting my fingers, so I rate these highly as refrigerator magnets because they hold things wonderfully. The 12 magnets in this order were shipped with polypropylene plastic separators so they would not be so hard to slide apart for use. That was very helpful. The block of magnets stuck together was shipped in a box about 1 1/2 x 2 1/2 x 4“ with padding around the magnets block. They also provided some self-adhesive foam mount pieces which I did not need. There are plenty of cautions about these magnets being fragile and subject to shattering. I dropped a magnet a couple of times and fortunately it did not break. I was careful to not pry the magnets with a lot of force when separating them, because that would be likely to break the magnet. At first I considered the 1“ x 1“ x 1“ cube magnets, but I decided they were both far too strong as refrigerator magnets, and far too dangerous in regards to injury in handling them. Read the reviews for those magnets and you will see what I mean. The ones in this offering are 5 mm x 10 mm x 60 mm, which is a very good size.

Fabulous Magnets
These are very easy to use and easy to remove. Just make sure you don't bang them together or against anything because they will break, something that is stated in the paperwork. For my application, they will not be removable because I have permanently gluee them to curtains I use on my covered front deck to keep the sun out in late afternoon. I also used several on the posts for my deck cover which will be removable if I need to do so. These are VERY strong magnets, so be careful when handling them.

I bet these wreck shop in transport
These are really really strong magnets. They make sparks when they slam together. They are in fact so strong, I bet they mess up a lot of digital devices as they pass though the mail. I love the idea that a bunch of people are going to unbox brand new iPhones only to find that they've been wiped by my magnets. I might buy more just to be a jerk. Don't worry though, like others have mentioned, these magnets are very fragile. I immediately broke two while trying to get them apart so I got what I deserve.

The perfect magnet
These are very strong and worked like a charm
