Tried Again

I was a bit upset when I wrote the last review, so I'll do it again. This camera seemed, at first glance to be everything I needed. Upon trying to get it set up, I noticed that when I turned the switch from Test to On, it turned off or went to a green snow screen and could only be reset by ejecting the battery pack. I'v since come to believe that it was not shipped appropriately and got banged around to the point that made it not work. This is not something Clobo could have any dealing with as it was shipped by a 3rd party shipper. If given a second chance I'd like to see if this is what I thought it would be and perhaps give a better review. Until then, this is about as good as I'll go as I was unable to get it to operate. Don't count the folks at Clobo out. Give them a chance to show a working product and please disregard my previous review. It wasn't accurate. I was pi$$ed when I wrote it.

Awesome quality photos!

Originally bought this for added security and am very impressed with the quality of videos this cam catches. Great clarity, and easy to set up and access videos after. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a trail cam or added security for their property (private or commercial). It took a little long to show as it wasn’t a part of amazon prime however do NOT let this hinge on purchasing. Well worth the wait for the quality and savings to my wallet. Thank you!

Good camera

The photos turn out great and the trigger speed is good. Night photos come out good too. The viewer in the camera is a nice feature too. Great buy!

Very easy to use, picture quality, night and day vision

I put this camera behind the house near the booth of my beloved dog to test this camera as it should. When I took this camera out of the box and picked it up, I immediately realized that this camera was made at the highest level, everything is fine in it, from the quality of the meterials, the assembly and the configuration. The camera is very easy to install and use, everything is simple and intuitive, it is very important! I would like to talk separately about the quality of shooting, because this is the most important thing in the camera and I can say that I am very satisfied, the picture is clean, clear, the motion sensor works fine, the picture card is good, both in the daytime and at night, the price is excellent, I Very satisfied and highly recommend!

Excellent Device - Installed in the Colombian Jungle

I got this to deploy deep in the jungles of Colombia, in a spot called La Macarena. It’s the first permanent trail camera they have and they’re planning on using it to track deer, foxes, and jaguars seen in the area. The device was easy and quick to setup, and the instructions are on a label inside the case. The battery door has a convenient “eject” button that keeps the whole thing weather sealed. I’ll update when we have animal shots to share - this thing does photos and video at the same time. The 16mp camera has excellent quality and the unit was affordable.

Great Trail Camera For Great Price

It wasn't that long ago that trail cameras were 150 to 200 bucks - now they are much better with amazing features for much less. At under $50 bucks The Clobo is impressive - I have been using trail cams for many years and this one is noteworthy for its super fast trigger speed 0.02 seconds and sensitive detection as well as subtle little things that I like such as using a regular size SD card mounted on the side. This is so much easier to use than a micro SD on the bottom that I keep fumbling and dropping on other cameras. Also the camera lens is fixed and always facing at your target (you only open the bottom half) when you set it up so you easily know exactly what your filming as you adjust it as opposed to the ones where the camera swings away on the front door. Hopefully this will catch on with more cameras. Fit and finish is excellent and mounting system is strong for trees with a metal fastener on the strap. Plastic tends to deteriorate in the UV and sunshine over many months and I had a plastic fastener break on me with another camera. Menu system and image review is pretty straight forward - the manual doesn't say it, but to access the SD card menu and format the SD card as well as manage the images you first put it into test position then press OK and then menu and your now in the SD card menu. Very easy to format etc. once you do these simple steps. One last thing - this does time lapses, some, but not all trail cameras have this feature which I use a lot and should be standard on cameras nowadays. I did a comprehensive review with lots of examples on YouTube if you search for: "Clobo 16MP Trail Camera Test" and look for the one with the elk and blu jay in the upper corners you should find it.

Black/white/color

I bought this for my son who loves to hunt just about anything. He has a few of these hunting cameras and he has commented the pros and cons of each one. They have improved quite a bit since first hitting the market. This one does have a lot of good features for the price. You can switch between photo or video. The pictures are clear and we like that it uses a full size 32G SD card rather than a micro. I think it would be better if a power cord came with it. The batteries run down very fast if you’re to shoot a video and this proves to be very inconvenient.

Great photo and video quality! Really impressed!

My husband and I recently purchased a house with more land so we wanted to see if we had any animal visitors. We were not disappointed! the photo quality is great and the video quality is, too. Check out the deer! In the daytime, a banana tree nearby will often set it off, it's that sensitive. Another feature I like is that it gives the temperature and the phase of the moon (besides the date and time). It also shows how much battery it has left. It was still at full bars after having it out for several weeks. You will not be disappointed with this camera. We absolutely love it!

GREAT Camera!

Love this camera! Easy to use! Left it out in a stormy downpour on my patio and worked like a champ. Recommend getting a bigger memory card. I got a 16GB and with video & photo it filled up fast. Used just for photos only and I have over 1700 and still not full. You can’t beat this quality for such a good price.
