nice quality - buying a second

I order two similar - the other a different maker. THIS ONE won. This is definitely not small, but seems as compact as a medium size can be. The material appears to be quality. It was fun to pack - and I have lots of room left over for when I accumulate stuff out on the road. I don't know how it will hold up, but from initial view, it appears to be substantial. The dark navy blue is a great color. UPDATE: I continue to like this so much that I am buying another one - this time, brown. I also "improved" it with a felt-fabric "insert" that allows me to organize the inner chamber and that is just great because otherwise the inner chamber can become a deep cave.

Lots of room, great quality perfect for whatvi needed

This is the first time ive really gone out of my way to do a review other than a few words. But I bought this with some unanswered questions and I'm really impressed with it so I wanted to try and answer a few questions. I wanted a lightweight nylon purse with an inside pocket that would fit a large cell phone. I ordered the Large size option. I wasn't able to take a picture of my phone in the pocket but my LG Stylo3 fits with a little room to spare. I think it will fit my Stylo4 when I upgrade. That pocket is inside the front top zipper. The pocket next to it is smaller but would fit several lipsticks or in my case a large secondary power bank. I threw my wallet In that top front main pocket as well and Its swimming in extra room. The inside top main pocket contains. An extra cell wallet I carry in case I want to switch to just phone and a few cards. Needless to say it is also swimming in extra room. There is a zipper pocket on the back side of that pocket that I keep my medicines etc in. That pocket holds everything with room to spare. See picture to see what ""everything" means. I also normally have a packet of prepasted travel toothbrushes as well and plenty of room to include those. On the front outside of the purse these is a full length and height zippered pocket That is currently empty. It would fit my Kindle or MAYBE an IPAD. Inl dont have one to try. Also on the front are two zippered pockets. In one i have reading glasses and coin purse. In the other i have extra sunglasses and a compass (outdoor map nerd) Dont judge it comes in handy in the mountains and in Manhattan. 😀 . There is a large zip pocket on the back panel that surprised me. I bought the large size so my daily planner (9in x 10in) would fit in the main pocket but no need. It fits nicely in"the back panel pocket and keeps anything spiky i might put inside feom poking me while I walk. On each end is a bottle pocket. In have a very large set set of keys in one. If I were in NYC, however, I would love those to a zipper pocket. On the other end I placed a 16oz bottle of water. The water wont fall out but an umbrella likely would. There is room in the main compartment for a travel size umbrella. So lastly see pics of the purse on me. I'm a pretty large grandma type unlike the small Asian lady in the product photos. The purse looks more normal size on me its still a little large. If I wasnt carrying around that daily planner the smaller size would have been fine. The strap adjusts down to where I can carry it at the bottom of my elbow when over one shoulder and with strap extended part way can carry cross body with plenty of adj left over if needed. The bottom line on this is LOTS of room. Nothing is cramped and I still have empty pockets. If I will it up Indont be able to carry it. I will likely add a emergency poncho and a small bottle of hand sanitizer. Pretty much everything I normally carry is in pockets and the main compartments are empty. Lol. Quality seems great. No loose threads, zipper or seam issues.

Very stylish and practical.

Bought this because it’s not leather and I wanted something of lighter weight and lots of useful pockets. Fits my need perfectly. I have the strap at it’s longest length as I had neck surgery a few years ago and it’s so much easier getting through store check out lines without having to take a shorter bag off and put it up on the counter, pay, put it back over shoulder and gather my stuff and go. We’re all busy and have errands, this bag makes my life easier. Nice size, great price, and it wipes clean very easily. I’ve had this bag for about two and a half months and it’s held up great so far. Very pleased with it.

Black Purse, Light-Weight, Adjustable Straps, Lots Of Pockets, Good Value

I love this purse! I purchased it for myself in the color black. I wanted a light-weight purse, with long straps that I could wear cross-body when necessary, in a dark color (black), with plenty of pockets, and that would be somewhat water resistant if I got caught in the rain. This purse has all of those features! The material is lightweight but not so thin that it would rip easily or immediately. I read some reviews saying some of the colors are "see-through" but that is not the case with the black one that I received. In terms of size, it's what I would call a "medium" sized purse. It's definitely not small enough to be a clutch, but it's not large enough to be a tote either. It zips closed, which I prefer. The 2 small outer pockets & small side pocket you see in the product picture are not large enough to hold my Iphone 6s. That's not an issue for me, but if you prefer putting your cellphone in an outer pocket, you should know upfront I doubt any cellphone would fit into an outer pocket with this purse. It's not an issue for me because I can put my phone inside the larger pockets and find it pretty easily. With so many pockets on this purse, it's easier to be organized because I can put things in different pockets and find them. My cell phone doesn't get buried under a lot of stuff. I haven't gotten this purse wet, so I can't comment on that feature except to say it feels as if it would be resistant (thin parachute or a thicker umbrella material feel is the best way I can describe it). I wouldn't want to submerge the purse in water, but for "caught in the rain" moments, it seems like it would be okay. The straps on this purse are sturdy even though it's very light. There were no ripped seams or hanging threads. Nothing is loose, torn, or poorly made. The straps are the same material as the purse, just thicker, and are adjustable. I'm tall and long-waisted, but the straps (when adjusted) are long enough to fit cross-body when I want. This comes in handy when I need to open a door or carry things inside and need my hands free. I don't expect the purse to hold up for many years, but at this price I can afford to buy another. It's not fancy or super expensive but it's attractive and functional. I love it! It's a good value for this price.

Pleasant surprise!

I was expecting to be annoyed and send this back, but I love it! It's a thin feeling fabric but don't be fooled! It's pretty surprisingly sturdy! There's pockets everywhere and the zippers seem to be good quality! I've got this thing stuffed full and it's a trooper! The front pocket things that look like cargo pockets fit my wallet perfectly in one and in the other is my daughters toy figurine collection (how do you get a toddler to stay still? Have toys, will travel. Works on older sisters too!) It's got 2 big sections in the body of the purse. One section I use for my stuff, granola bars, and applesauce pouches. Sometimes there's a bottle of water in there. The other section I use for diapers, wipes, etc. Basically, if you were stranded on a deserted island, you would want me and my purse on your team. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the strap. It's good quality. Sort of canvasy on one side and the nylon on the other. Thicker than I would have expected. I like how I can make it short for a shoulder bag or long for a cross body bag, depending on which kid I'm chasing and how many hands I need. When it's a shoulder bag, it slips off my shoulder a lot. It's kind of high maintenance for keeping it on my shoulder. That's because the nylon slippy fabric is on the outside. When I'm adjusting it, it gets twisted a lot and I have to straighten it often. Maybe make the metal loop at the end smaller? (Hey though! A metal loop! Not plastic!) My kids have already spilled stuff on it. It still looks great! For the price, I think I won with this purse!

Its a really nice bag for traveling

I bought the large! Its a really nice bag for traveling. I wore it crossbody all day long and it didn't cause me any additional shoulder pain at all. I loved having two separate large skippered compartments. One held all my traveling paperwork and full size magazines and nothing got squished! The other side help my daytime , sunglasses etc. I kept my phone in another zippered part and there were even more skippered parts for smaller items along with another long zipper part on the back! both ends even held my "swell" type bottles (although another inch of coverage would have made me feel just a bit more secure about them!) I think its a terrific buy. its a decent bag for a really good price and perfect for traveling.

Pretty & lots of room & pockets

This is an edit of the 1st Volcanic Rock purse purchased in 2018, which is the smaller purse that I continue to use with zero problems with zippers or anything else! This second purse is the larger one, and its color is exactly as pictured! The many pockets are perfect if you are like me, and don't like lots of little pockets where you have to try to remember what you put where! :) This is a brief description of how I am using my larger purse: 1. The two front gusseted pockets have plenty of room in them for smaller items. I put lipsticks, foundation stick, blusher & travel size hand cream & hairspray in one, & gum, mints, work swipe badges, keys, name tags, etc: (stuff I want to find easily & quickly) in the other. 2. The pocket above these has plenty of room for notebooks/journals, slim books I'm reading or smaller magazines, & calendar. The large purse has two main zipper compartments. One has the smaller zipper pocket inside and the other has the two open pockets, which most purses come with. 3. Big compartment one holds my wallet, cell phone,and still has lots of room for other things. 4. Big compartment two has a (purse inside a purse) purse organizer with small stuff like bandages, medications, inhaler, safety pins, hair pins, pens, bank checks & everything but the kitchen sink! :) 5. & there's still the large back pocket! I belong to a book study group, & another organization so I put the things I need for these meetings in here. I don't carry a tablet or small laptop around with me, what I need is on my iPhone. But there's plenty of room for one of these if you want it. This purse has the same great quality as the first one, so I'm ordering a 3rd one in a different color!

Best Cross-Body Purse I have had in a long time.

This is a wonderful purse for me. I am retired military and love the green color that I bought. I love the cross-body style as it leaves my hands free to do other things when I am carrying this purse. It is just the right size for all the items that I like to carry with me. It has ample room for all my items. I love that it has so many pockets, too. I carry hand sanitizer in one of the small zippered pockets and a small flashlight in the other small zippered pocket on the front of the purse. The next pocket up from them is a very good size for personal items such as comb, mirror, lip moistener, and other items I want to get to quickly. The two zippered pockets on the ends of the purse are just right for a little package of tissues and a place to keep my dog's poopie bags. It's so easy to remember where these items are for quick access. The pocket on the back of the purse is just right for keeping papers, my pocket calendar and a few pens. My papers no longer get squashed by other items in a large open purse. The main inner compartment is deep enough for my long style wallet. There are two interior open top slots for keeping two items I need to reach easily. I also keep my pills in a zipper bag that fits inside the big compartment, too. This is perhaps the best cross-body purse I have ever owned. I also like that it is waterproof nylon.

Great Versatile Everyday Beautiful Bag

Nearly perfect bag for general, everyday use. The only thing I would personally change on this bag is to make one of the side pockets non-zippered with a pocket suitable for a water bottle. However, this is versatile enough and with enough pockets that I still found a place for my water bottle. I have never liked carrying a purse, but as I have grown older, I find I need one because I can't travel as light as I used to. I'm diabetic, so need a place for my glucometer and snacks, drink, sunglasses (I get migraines without them), meds, wallet, hanky, small towel and various other things I now find I have to carry. I can carry all that and much more without crowding and in a convenient size. I got the purple-blue color and it's beautiful. My hubby even commented on how pretty it was. I love that it's fairly water resistant, but that you can just throw it in the washer if it gets dirty. I already had a bag made from this same material, but it is too big for everyday use, so knew I would like the material. It is light weight, so unless you put lots of heavy stuff in it, it won't make your shoulder ache. One other plus, is that you can make it either a shoulder bag or a cross body bag, as the strap is adjustable.

Received the handbag today and I'm so pleased with my choice. I looked at several handbags and read the reviews and choose this one based on those reviews. The color was spot on navy blue, and was just the right size that I needed. Do your homework and read reviews, it helps a lot.
