Good camera

Just got this and haven't tried all features, but so far, very happy. Takes good pictures and videos, haven't tried IR yet. Unit was well packed and instruction are concise but well written and clear. Good Choice

Great camera and great customer service!

I bought one camera which came to me defective by freak accident. It allowed moisture into the actual camera where the infrared light is. I contacted the Foxelli customer service and they were SUPER nice and helpful. Sent me another one right away which arrived 2 days later and sent me a prepaid postage stamp to send the other one back. They apologized a ton and were so helpful with the whole process. As for the actual camera, it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. It comes with its own memory card. It takes great pictures, and you can look at the pictures on the actual camera, which is much more convenient than having to go back home and plug my card into my laptop. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for a great trail camera and awesome customer service.

so far it takes great pictures I don't like the way the prices jump around they range from 50.00 to 80.00 I am glad I got mine for the fifty dollars or I would have went with another brand but I am a foxelli trail camera fan

Good so far

I am using the camera's defaults that take two still photos and a video. This picture was taken at about 20 minutes before midnight. I also have a video of a doe and a small fawn, but I am afraid the file is too large to upload. The neighbors across the street lights are degrading the video and still quality, and I hope to get better pictures when I put the camera on the back of my house.

Great little camera and responsive, friendly company

I bought a trail camera once, for twice the price of this one, and never managed to make it work. I'm sure it was me, not the camera, but there was no support and I eventually abandoned it. I was recommended to this camera by a friend, who has the smaller model. It comes packed with care. it's well designed. It has a simple, detailed little instruction book which, if you follow it carefully (as I did after a couple of tries winging it - during which I contacted the folks and got friendly help) you will be able to pop in your card, initialize it, set your time, date and photo quality preferences. You can easily strap it to a tree or whatever, turn it on, walk away and the next morning see nice, clear, video and stills -- if there's been anything moving. I'm very happy with it!

If it will still work in wet or cold weather let's hope so.

I like this trail camera so far put the eight batteries in went through the set up process seems easy to set up planning on putting it in the woods this weekend to give it a test if it past the test I might order one more and past the word around to my other club members to try one .Thanks for the flashlight .will let you know the test results

Has everything you need !

Very impressed.. I bought a pair of them and couldn't be happier. Very well constructed. Doesnt feel like cheap Chinese junk..was surprised when I found that it cam with a mounting plate and hardware for mounting along with the option for tripod mounting..I also like the LCD screen inside the trail cam that can show me pictures and videos I capture without having to bring other equipment or devices with me..will be buying more in the future..

Works as described

Compact camera with great resolution. We haven't had it long, but love the ability to review the pics on the camera. It takes great pictures and so far is the best game camera we have owned. Time will tell.

good video quality

Have been using the camera for about a week. I work on Windows 10. One tip: install VLC or some other media viewing app as it will do a much better job of showing the videos. Windows Media Player has problems with the .avi extension.
