No beep, automatically pop up.

I'm a software engineer and my pet hate the beep noise, just like me. I bought this two slice toaster first due to there is no such noise when toasing finish. After few times testing, I found this toaster is AMAZING! Cooks quickly, evenly and has great features. The removable crumb tray which is a big plus to make cleaning a breeze.

Almost perfect in every way

Beautiful little toaster that works like a charm! I wasn't expecting it to be such a piece of "countertop candy"...the metal part sandwiched between the colored sides is chrome (I think) and as reflective as a mirror - which is a nice surprise because it helps brighten the dark recesses of cabinet corners. Perhaps it will show fingerprints, but since this is the part of the toaster that gets HOT, why would you ever touch the shiny metal parts. The blue side do not show any fingerprints at all. The blue is more of a Tiffany blue than it is a true Torquoise. It is gorgeous. so much for the appearance of the beast. How does it function? Better than $100 Breville toaster that I purchased and returned (too big and burnt all edges of items toasted). This toasts perfectly. I love having clear control of the degree of toasting (and the image showing the levels of brown was very helpful). I have used it on whole wheat bread and multi grain rolls. Both were nicely toasted without drying out and without burnt edges. The heat appears to mostly vent out of the bottom. The cord options are useful and many. The footprint is sweetly minimal, without skimping on the features you need in a toaster. Contrary to other comments, I like the clicks that indicate the small adjustments made to the "darkness" dial. Bottom line: I love this toaster and hope it lasts many years. I highly recommend this toaster and am sure you will be as pleased as I have been. (To Keemo....if you would make this very toaster into a longer, single slot, long slot toaster, I would give it 7 out of 5 stars.

Looks Great

The toaster looks as good in person as I had hoped and that was really important in my toaster search... more important than it should have been. The settings are easy to set with the turn of the knob that clicks about 7 times between each number. So between 1 and 2 there are seven clicks or settings. At the lowest setting of 1 it was pretty perfect for me, but some people might want less toasty toast, so keep that in mind. At 3 regular bread was burnt. I will assume the higher, longer settings are for thicker breads and frozen bagels etc. The cord comes out at the front corner of the toaster which I found odd. Over all I am very happy with our new toaster and it perfect for me.

Best Toaster I've Seen In A Long Time.

Purchased to replace a toaster that ""died"" after reading months of toaster reviews from various brands. This toaster browns the bread perfectly and evenly on both sides! It is superlative! Only takes a short amount of time and doesn't take long to figure out your preferred settings. Looks fantastic with the style on my counter and doesn't take up too much space like the 4 slice toasters do. Highly recommend to those not wanting to buy another dud toaster!

Below is my original review. After I wrote it the company, Keemo emailed me about the one I had. They said i must have received a defective toaster and have sent me a new one. So I would say that's a pretty decent thing for them to do. So, if you do purchase it and there's a problem, talk with the company. They are very helpful! ....................................................................................................................................................................................................................... I purchased this with the expectation that I could actually use it for more than a couple of times. Almost all pieces, including the lever that you push down, are plastic. It is VERY flimsily made. I got around a six uses out of it before it quit working. The lever will not stay down and the inside elements do not work any longer, even if you hold the lever down. I didn't wash this toaster, submerge it in water or anything other than normal use.

Toaster is simple, straightforward, and loads of darkness settings

I wanted a two-slot toaster for my tiny kitchen with minimal counter space. It's super cute. Love the turquoise color choice. It's very simple, but the quality seems better than the popular brands. I have tried the many settings for toast darkness, and they all work! Read the instruction about darkness. Thicker breads take longer.

Great Buy

I love this toaster. Long story short - I got tired of my digital toaster changing the degree of darkness on my toast. This toaster's degree of toast can only be changed by you. Love the fact that they included a picture diagram of how dark the settings make the toast. Would buy again.
