Perfect deadlift shoe
I'm a powerlifter and I bought these specifically for deadlifting because in competition you must wear either shoes or deadlift slippers, which are not only unsupportive, they suck at gripping the floor. They work perfectly and are a cheaper alternative to the Sabo deadlift shoe, which is the top of the line shoe for deadlifting, although many would disagree and use Chucks. These are as flat to the ground as you can get with a shoe and very stable with excellent grip. Highly recommended for powerlifters needing a good deadlift shoe

Great shoe for lifting!
The shoes were a great value. I got them for when I train legs, especially when I'm going to do deadlifts and squats. The shoes are very comfortable. The fit EXACT to size, almost like socks. I'd buy them again.

They have a reputation for being 'small' though I would say 'snug' is a better description. This will obviously depend a bit on simply the shape of your feet, and if you keep your toe nails trimmed :) I opted for the same as my 'regular' shoe size, and they are smaller, but for wrestling, after one practice of stretching on the foot, absolutely perfect. My daughter, given the choice between two sizes, once she tried both, opted for half a size larger than normally 'normal' and loves them that way too. If in doubt, order your regular size, and one half a size larger, and compare them on your feet. If it feels a little tight, but doesn't hurt walking around on carpet for 10 minutes, I'd keep it, because they will stretch slightly.

Great for Non-wrestlers too!
I wear a 10.5 but ordered an 11 and it fit perfectly! They are amazing for jump rope and weightlifting on leg days (except for deep squats that require greater ankle mobility). With that said, ankle support is terrific and comfort makes them comfy enough for use outside of the gym

My son loves his wrestling shoes!
In my experience you can't go wrong with ASICS wrestling shoes (even though I own a pair of ADIDAS for me). My son needed a pair ASAP and he didn't like the few color choices available in local stores so I let him find pick a pair on Amazon. With this being his first year of wrestling and growing quickly (12 years old) I told him to stay in the $50 price range. These were shipped 1-Day shipping and arrived on time. He wears size 7.5 men's shoes and we went with a size 8 which fit perfectly and should last him all season. The shoe has plenty of grip and he is very happy!

Outstanding quality/price
The shoes were purchased for my Grandson who lives on the opposite side of the Country from me & I had to determine his shoe size during a phone call with him. The size we came up with turned out to be right-on. I was also told that the quality of the shoes far exceeded the price I paid. My Grandson couldn't be happier with them. This means a lot to me considering I haven't seen my Grandson in 10 years. Thank you!

Cant be beat them if you intend to use for squats or deadlifts..
Good fit - comfortable in use. Great for squats and dead-lifts... This is not for general use as walking around shoe. Too uncomfortable outside the gym. Not for street use. Low price but high quality build and design. Shoes like these for anywhere from $100-150 seem highly over priced for what little extra they may provide except possibly longevity under heavy use. If you weigh in 150-185# range and don't intend handle more than 300-400# on your barbell - you should do just fine. For the price you can't beat them for value. Only side note - they are bit of a deal to get them on and off - but that's not a major show stopper. Once you are laced up you forget all about this tiny nuisance.

Buy a 1/2 size larger if you have a wide foot.
This is my second pair of this model shoe. I bought my last pair, true to size, in a 9 1/2. I wrestled in those for over a year. I they were too tight but I thought they would stretch with use. They did not. Even with being too tight I loved how they fit and felt. They did eventually start to cause ingrown toenails on my big toes so I purchase this new pair a half size larger. They fit like heaven. Too bad this shoe is being disconntinued because this is the only wrestling shoe I would buy for the rest of my life now that I have the sizing figured out. My first pair was the black on black color. With this shoe being discontinued they didn't have that color option in stock so I chose the white with red and blue to go with the school colors. Apparently the kids think my shoes are cool now. Who knows. All I know is that I can coach and wrestle comfortably and confidently now.

Apparently shoes make you stronger
Not going to lie, it was weird walking in wrestling shoes at first! but I quickly adjusted and WOW I can feel the difference squatting, dead-lifting, etc. Like seriously, I was able to lift more weight the very first time I used them and overall I felt super comfortable! My form is even better just from these shoes. I am very proud that after a couple minutes of researching, this was my ultimate decision!

No Compliantts; Only Accolades
I decided to purchase these shoes for the sole purpose of boxing/kickboxing. Having never worn wrestling shoes and not certain if they would allow the mobility need to perform a series of kicks/punches, I wasn't fully confident in my selection. After several training session, I would suggest those uncertainties have vanished. With these shoes, I have the stability necessary to deliver a powerful punch/kick; am able to easily pivot - albeit due to hip rotation and/or a shift in position or footing; and can easily point my toe while performing kicks. Not to mention, these shoes are extremely light, there I am not compromising speed or power.
