Compact size with lots of power and cool features

The shipping was fast and very well packaged. I was very surprised of how much power is inside this compact size drone. My son and I were able to program a route on the GPS map and have the drone fly around on its own through our neighborhood while recording, and then come back home automatically. Let me say that the picture and video quality is excellent! The tracking features are a little tricky at first, be careful when having the drone tracking and following you, make sure the path is clear for the drone to fly through. My son really enjoys the virtual reality feature, although he had a little trouble judging the distance of nearby objects and crashing into them, this drone has so far resisted all these collisions and just keeps flying. It comes with lots of extra parts which so far I have not had to use yet. Based on my previous interactions with Holy Stone customer service, I know I can rely on them if I run into any issues! Very happy with this drone and know it will last us a long time.. would also recommend to purchase additional batteries to increase your time up in the air :)

Great drone, a lot of fun, cheap price!

I’ll start with I’ve had many many drones, both inexpensive up to DJI Phantoms. This drone was very inexpensive and looks a lot like the DJI mavic. It was about 10 minutes out of the box to airborne although I had to land soon after to do the initial charge. The GPS assist flying mode kept it pretty stable for an inexpensive drone. Don’t expect it to stay as stable as a big time gyro drone like a phantom, but at a fraction of the cost, in little to no wind, you will NOT beat this drone. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one and have already gotten two friends to order one. They have used both of them in follow me mode and love them. Bottom line, for the price, it’s a 500 star drone. Keep in mind it’s a 150 dollar drone not a 750 dollar drone. The stabilization will not be comparable. Buy one now!!

Awesome product and customer service!

I purchased the drone and two extra batteries. The drone is great. This is my first drone and I've had no problem learning to fly it. The drone has great altitude hold and smooth movent side to side and spinning. Ascending is relatively fast, at least for a newb. However, descending is painfully slow! My guess is descending was made so slow to aid newbs land without crashing. I totally understand the intention but there was no noticable change when switching to high speed. I can potentially see this as a problem as the drone has a low voltage auto return feature, but it seems that you could easily out climb the battery. I haven't tested this feature yet though. The only minor problem I've had is that one of the charging cables would not work. The batteries get relatively good flight time, around 15 minutes, so it is nice to be able to charge all three at once. You can fly about 40-45 minutes, charge (took a little over an hour for the two batteries I charged) and back to flying! I decided I would try their customer service email late on the evening of July 3rd. Unexpectedly I got a reply very quickly asking for more info. I replied giving more info and Tiffany responded that they would replace the charger right away! Not only did Tiffany get back to me quickly, but did so relatively late at night on the eve of a national holiday! Tiffany, if you see this I want you to know you are appreciated! All around this is a great product and have shown that they respond to their customers quickly, which is super awesome! I will definitely look at their more advanced drones when I'm ready to upgrade.

Great pictures, packed with tech, and resilient to crashes

I just got this drone a few days ago, and boy has it been a treat. First off, I must have wrecked this thing at least a dozen times already. This includes crashing into bushes and trees at full speed, hitting against 2 story walls and having it just drop to asphalt belly-up. Even after the "learning curve" wrecks, it still functions as good as new. It even has a little "character" because of all of the dings and scratches all over it. One of the big improvements to this model is the internal camera is well protected and not as prone to taking major hits like the models that have the camera dangling underneath. The GPS function is pretty cool, it allows you to call your drone back home, it also has a follow-me feature which is pretty fun to play around with. One other big improvement to previous models is that even though this drone is pretty small and light weight, it has very powerful motors that help it cut through the wind even at high altitudes. Very fun, very cool. When I eventually send this one to its grave from crashing it a million times I will happily repurchase.

A very good GPS drone at its price point

It all comes packaged very neatly in the well designed case. The drone itself comes folded, which makes it very small to transport. There are extra props, a USB charging cable for the drone battery (with LEDs that flash red and green until completed), some tools, a micro-USB charging cable for the controller, instructions, and a note booklet. The controller is very comfortable and large Galaxy S10+ fits nicely in the holder. If you have any experience with game or drone controllers then it will feel very natural to use. The instructions are very clear and I was flying the drone in no time. I was able to see through the drone's camera in real time with the software available on the Google Play store. Overall it was very simple to fly and the battery life seems good. It's a GPS drone, which means it maintains its position by a GPS lock. Be sure to let it sync up with enough GPS satellites before flying it and it should be stable. Also, be sure not to have any obstructions nearby to maximum signal stability. With a TF card you can save videos and photos. It's worth noting that it's not a gimbal-equipped camera, but for this price point you obviously shouldn't expect one. I think it only supports up to 32GB cards, but the photos are small (less than 500KB each) and so are the videos (less than 1MB per minute), so the space will last for a while. Overall it was a great experience and I'd recommend for anyone that wants their first GPS drone, or any drone enthusiast that can't have too many drones.
