I now hate getting out of bed

I bought the largest size for my queen bed and it fits just right. I snuggle underneath the covers now and I fall into a very deep sleep. The weight is actually very comforting and I have noticed that the last few days, my shoulders have been very sore with the stress leaving them. I do have military PTSD, anxiety etc. So this has been very helpful. I bought it on a whim after hearing stories of others getting them and it helping. So far I am very impressed with it.

Great quality, great results.

My daughter has been using this blanket for over two weeks now, and we are super pleased with how well she has responded to it. She is 15, and like most teenagers, she tends to not get sleepy until 11pm or after. Add to that, her ADD keeps her brain from slowing down easily. Ever since she's was little, she has fought bedtime and going to sleep. We got the 10 lb. 41 x 60 size. Right out of the box, she loved this blanket. She draped it over her shoulders and didn't want to take it off. She has been falling asleep faster and seems to be sleeping more deeply. Her exact words, "It's so calming." Based on feedback I saw on ADD/ADHD online communities, I decided to get the smaller size (for her twin bed) because, even though the 10lb. weight seems perfect, she is able to easily stick her feet out if she gets hot. Too large a blanket gets to be just too much, too heavy. I am quite impressed with the quality. Good stitching, and the weight is distributed evenly, all the way to the corners. Handy hint: if you get a duvet cover for yours (you should! This blanket is an investment), make sure to find a cover that has ties in the inside of the corners. This blanket has loops on the corners, and tying the blanket to the cover helps keep everything in place. (And second handy hint: you can find simple getting-comforters-into-duvet-covers videos on YouTube.) Not everyone responds well to a weighted blanket. I personally find my daughter's somewhat claustrophobic. But she absolutely loves hers, and I love the benefit of better sleep for her. No one enjoys a cranky teenager.

Best investment I've ever made, seriously.

Giftable I gave four stars because, that's one heavy present. Cleaning wise, you can't put it in the dryer or washer. So it's a bit of work by hand- just be prepared. Comfort? Amazing!

I ordered 3 of these blankets at once, and not one for myself.. but I currently have two more in my shopping cart for myself and my son. Friend 1; has MS and hadn’t slept through the night in years due to the stabbing leg pains. There was no medication she hadn’t tried, nothing helped. Since receiving this blanket, she’s sleeping through the night. Friend 2; suffers from PTSD after her time in Afghanistan. She said is was a total game changer, she too is sleeping through the night (and her dog is getting more sleep too.) Friend 3; suffers from anxiety, and for about 30 years hasn’t slept longer then 90 minute cycles before he has to get up and move around. He says he is sleeping through the night. This blanket works! It’s super soft, and very heavy! It came in a bag, make sure to open the box and dump it out. (Friend 1 punched herself in the face trying to pull the blanket out and the strap on the bag broke.HA!) They have all said that the fabric breathes well and they do not get hot at night. All three are using the weighted blanket over their regular blanket, and were surprised that they didn’t wake up sweaty. I’m really excited to try this out on my oldest son who struggles with anxiety.

Great quality and price

We searched high and low for a weighted blanket for our son. We found many that were exorbitantly priced, but we stumbled across this one. The price was on point, and the quality has been wonderful. Our son is not the most gentle with his bedding, but this has held up without showing it’s age. When he actually sleeps under it, it helps calm his nerves and sensory input, and his sleep is far more peaceful and restful.

Best sleep ever!

I have been researching and looking for a weighted blanket for a few months now. I didn't want to spend $200-$500 on a blanket that I wasn't sure I would love. I started dating a someone, and he said that he had this blanket, and it was the best purchase he'd ever made for his sleep habits. He raved about how well he slept, and he highly recommended this product. So I pulled the trigger and ordered it. I ordered the 20lbs 80x60 blanket and the duvet. I received the blanket yesterday, the duvet cover is expected to be delivered today. I'm impressed with the construction, the squares are small, and when I tried to feel the beads, I could barely feel them inside the blanket. I can't wait to get the duvet cover! I have to say, I sleep hot at night, my fan is always on high (no matter what the temperature, I'm always a little hot when I sleep), and I usually kick off the covers and wake up at least 3 times (if not more) every night. I slept under this blanket last night. I didn't get to bed until midnight, but I had the most deep and restful sleep I've had in 20 years! I woke up once at 5:30 am to use the restroom, and went right back to sleep. I never got hot at all during the night, and I slept so well that I slept through 2 alarms! (I normally wake up before my alarms, or hear them as soon as they start, because I'm a light sleeper) Thankfully I received a text asking how I slept under my new blanket, and that woke me up. I was still a little late for work this morning, but now I know to make my alarms louder. To summarize, I highly recommend this blanket, it appears to be well constructed, it is very reasonably priced, and I had the most restful night's sleep under it. I can't wait to go to bed tonight! Edit to add: I have now slept under this blanket sent from Heaven for 4 nights, still getting the best night's sleep I've had in years!

Helps me get to sleep faster.

I bought this blanket because I had heard that it can help you get to sleep faster, and keep you deeply asleep for longer. I don't know if it actually helps me to get to a deeper level of sleep, but I can say that it definitely helps me to get to sleep faster. I am a person who normally has trouble turning my brain off at night and it can really cut into my sleep time. But I have noticed that I fall asleep faster with this blanket, and I feel that I wake up more refreshed in the morning. Overall, I think this blanket is worth the money and I am very happy with it!

Great choice for a child.

This blanket is exactly as advertised and perfect for my 4 year old. It seems very well made it is exactly what we needed. When he gets a little out of himself, it immediately relaxes him. I must admit that after a heavy day of hiking or other leg workout, it is also very soothing for my legs too. The price was right and of course with prime it was delivered in two days. You will not be disappointed.

This thing really works!

I was suffering from insomnia due to anxiety and depression for almost 2 years now, and nothing had helped to improve my sleeping quality. I barely have any deep sleep each night according to my Fitbit, but this product saved me! I came across weighted blanket when I was watching an asian reality show, and one of the actors was using this blanket to fix his insomnia. After a tons of research I decided to give this one a try, oh man! First night in 2 years I slept like a baby! Got my full 8 hours of sleep and felt like I’m drunk on 20 shots of espresso. I weighted this blanket on the scale, it is really 15 lbs but it doesn’t feel that heavy when you use it. It really works! My Only complaint about this product is the packaging...since the blanket is a little heavy, the outer bag ripped into pieces when I try to open it. But somehow my cat is in love with that broken bag so I guess it’s still a 5 stars product for me lol

Finally had a good nights sleep.

So far, so good. Its super soft and it isn't hot. Keeps me from tossing and turning and had improved my sleep quality the last two nights. I'm menopausal and this seemed to almost stop any hot flashes at night. I got the child's size and its fits my side of a king size bed just perfectly. My husband doesn't want to use it, so its all mine. My 11 year old rested with it and now he wants one for himself. I will purchase another one.
