The compartments are air tight & perfect for little finger with a big appetite
😍 I absolutely LOVE packing my daughters lunch in these lunch boxes.💖 The different compartments are the perfect size for her little fingers & big appetite. Once you close the lid everything is air tight. I’ve packed oatmeal, noodle soup and yogurt without a problem. 👍I have a bunch of these lunch boxes so I can meal prep some of the compartments at the beginning of the week. A few tips: It’s really easy to fill with a variety of different foods (for especially picky eaters) if you pack things together by their moisture level. For really clean crisp edges & fluffy bread use scissors to cut the bread to size before you make the sandwich. Press the lid all the way down before you close the tabs on the front. 😀 The new prints are beautiful 🦄 🧜🏽♀️ my daughter loves them.

LOOK NO FURTHER! This is it! :)
First, the bullet points for you master speedy shoppers (I will go in to detail later for those of you who need it 🙋🏻♀️): What I LOVE: 1. Truly leak-proof! Yes! The yogurt did not spill over. The seals are great. 2. Super easy to clean! I hand wash only, although the inner tray is top rack machine washable. 3. My kids & I love the little compartments! These help me get creative with lunch & also helps me provide a visually appealing meal. My sons have FUN eating lunch from the different compartments. 4. This encourages my kids to try different foods. Because some of the compartments are smaller, I can include a food they may not normally try but he did this week! (Ex. Sliced mushrooms) 5. Good for portion control. My children are actually small for their age so I tend to want to overcompensate with larger portions. Large portions of foods can be off-putting to children, so these compartments are great as they are the PERFECT size. 6. Keeps everything in one place, in order, & my son doesn’t have to waste any time opening or closing different containers. My son may be the world’s slowest eater as he really like to indulge & enjoy his food. 20 minute lunches have been challenging now that he’s at school, but the ease of use of this has been helpful. 7. And maybe this would be first for my kids, but they are obsessed with the cute sharks design. Here are some details: First off, I consider myself a master of snack/meal prep for my children. Secondly, I’m a pediatric dietitian, so yeah...this is kind of my thing! I just got TWO of these amazing Bentgo boxes for my 4 & 2 year old sons & they are PHENOMENAL! I love them so much that my husband & I discussed getting the adult size ones (Bentgo Fresh) for us. This is our first week with a full-time preschooler, so we needed something he could carry, open, handle, etc & this was amazing all week. I grabbed a second one an hour later bc I figured if I was packing one lunch, I should pack a second one for my son who goes on daily adventures with me. My TWO year old can unsnap the case & open the lid independently so it’s been exciting & a total confidence builder for him :). This has made life so much easier. I’ve been questioning all week why I had not looked into a product like this before. I did a search online to see which Bento box product was best & this Bentgo Kids kept coming up number one on various lists so I decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did. It is totally worth the investment! Lastly, the leak-proof compartments are the best. My kids don’t like when certain foods mix & this works wonderfully. I wish this company made water bottles. Lol. I included a couple of pictures with my review & I wish I had taken “after” pics...my sons ate so well. Happy packing :)

Lots of options for a growing kid!
I use this to pack lunch for my 6 year old child. I can fit a sandwich (cut in half and crust off as he dislikes them), 3 fruit/veg options and a treat like M&Ms or Hershey Kisses. I like that I can send a variety and not have to wash 5 different containers! My child has no issue opening or closing them, although sometimes he's in a rush to go play he doesn't close them properly. If you're sending wet food to school like yoghurt, make sure you don't overfill them (3/4 is good) so they don't leak. I've also bought more trays so I can prep for multiple days and don't need to rush wash the lunch tray each night. Keeps food fresh, and my son has no issue eating them at lunch at noon. If you pack food and it smells, soak them in baking soda to get rid of the smell. I usually wash them by hand or put them in the top rack in the dishwasher. Using Press n Seal on the top portion of the cover (the one that touches the food when closed) helps keep them clean. That way you protect the seal better. I usually prep the night before and put the tray in the fridge before putting them in the lunchbox in the morning. We just use a normal sized lunchbag I got at a thrift store for two bucks. I also add some other snack options and a juice box that sits on top of the Bentgo Kids along with a napkin & fork. We're very happy with this lunchbox and will be using them for a while!

So far, so good.
I’m starting with one for each child, and if these hold up well for the next 6-12 months, I’ll order 3 more. I didn’t think they would be big enough portions, but I tested breakfast out and it was plenty of food. I’ve heard the latches can break easily, so I’m hoping they last at least 2 years, otherwise I’ll have to return them under the warranty. My kids love the designs!!

Kids Love Prints, Mom Loves Box!
I've already been a long time user of bentgo containers and my kids are well familiar with them for several years. When a company rep recently told me about the new print designs, I ordered some for each of my kids. They already have the original boxes, then were upgraded to the bentgo bright collection, so the bentgo prints were totally up our alley! When they arrived in the mail, my kids thought it was the cooollleesssttt thing ever!! They each compared the different designs they all had, traded with one another to observe and spent a good hour just enamored with them. It was our afternoon activity just to gawk over them. These lunchboxes have made lunch so easy and enjoyable to pack as well as for my kids to eat. I can line up all the inner trays on my counter and make an assembly line to pack for all kiddos at once. They all like different things for lunch, but the pre-portioned sections takes a lot of the guess work out of it for me and just allows me to fill them with an incredibly balanced lunch. By the time all sections are filled, there's enough space for a main dish, a fruit, veggie, snack, and treat and then some! My kids also like that they have enough independence at lunch to have all their options available to them at the same time and not constantly wait for an aide to come over and open up their containers for them (my kids are still little and can't open the containers on their own). I also love that when they come home, it is super easy to assess what they ate and how much because of the portioned sections. Several of my kids friends have since purchased these as well after seeing my kids with them. Cleaning them is so easy that even though it is dishwasher safe, I rarely have to wash them in the dishwasher. To store them in cabinets is also super easy as they fold flat and just stack perfectly on top of each other. I recently had an issue with the latch of one of my boxes and the customer service was so incredible that they fully replaced the entire unit.

Perfect for kids lunches on the go and school!
LOVE Bentgo Kids! I was hesitant to try this lunch box because I thought the compartments were small and wouldn’t hold enough food for my toddlers with big appetites...boy was I wrong! I purchased for school lunches, but we have been testing them out in the car and on day trips. The kids loved that they could pick out personalized designs and are excited to help pack their lunches! Love that I can include yogurt/applesauce/etc without worrying about leaks. So happy I decided to try Bentgo Kids!! Some example lunches: #1: 1/2 sandwich, pretzels, chocolate hummus, strawberries and carrot sticks; #2: 1/2 sandwich, goldfish, apple slices, nuts and yogurt.

Great for gluten free lunches!
I have been using bentgo kids for awhile, on and off. Some of my kids like them more than others. When my 7 year old recently became gluten free and I could no longer pack a sandwich or other options I used to pack, I turned almost exclusively to packing her lunch in these. They work very well for a gluten free lunch, because I can make meats, cheeses, fruits, and vegetables pack well and look appealing. Adding in some gluten free crackers and a little bit of chocolate works well. I use shape cutters to make healthy foods appealing and help her not feel she is deprived. (Transitioning away from gluten is difficult.) I was using these so often, I decided to get another one and my daughter chose the mermaid scales. She really likes it. I pack it in a pottery barn kids cold pack lunch box, and it fits great with an icepack. I also add some things like a gogurt, a juice, and a bag of chips or popcorn on the outside of the bentgo in the lunchbox to help make it a big enough meal for a second grader, and to give some things she can easily grab for snack time. While this isn't big enough to be the entire meal for a grade school child alone, it can form the main portion of a meal, and it's simple to add a few snacks around in the lunch box that are easily grabbed, and it works great. This is leakproof. (I have packed yogurts, cashew butter, ranch dip, hummus, juicy fruits and veggies, etc. with success.)

Great product and customer service!
I ordered ours over the summer and it's been going to school with my kiddo since the beginning of August. I load it up with all kinds of fruits, cheeses, cold cuts and usually a half sandwich (up to three quarters if I cut it into pieces.) There was also a few weeks of salads (don't ask, he was going through a phase) where I'd use the condiment portion for dressing. Well, lets just say I may have had a slip up with cleaning and drying it as vigilantly as I should have so it grew a few spots of mold (I put a lot of watermelon and bell peppers in his lunches, the moisture probably encourages this if one is not careful.) I made some attempts to clean the mold (vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, etc.) and while it was getting better, it wasn't completely coming clean. I contacted Bentgo customer service and they responded incredibly fast and were extremely helpful. They are sending me a replacement and offered suggestions to help prevent this from occurring in the future. I'd definitely re-purchase (in fact, I did, so now I will have two so I can ensure I always have a clean dry one on hand) this product again. I don't have any problems with the portion sizes. Sometimes my son says there is too much in it and he can't eat all the things in the 15-20 minutes they give them to eat at school, so I don't worry about him not getting enough food. I send this thing with watermelon, grapes, strawberries (cut,) and bell pepper strips on a regular basis and the only time I've ever experienced any leaks is when my son neglected to close it all the way because......boys/recess. So, I can't say enough good stuff about the product and their customer service is amazing. So buy this, just make sure you don't leave it in the backpack over the weekend once like I did!

I know, I know. Just listen, Linda.
Ok. I know what you're thinking "what's the deal with this $20 lunch box? Why do people like this? Is it insulated? Does it do magic?" The deal is it's one stop, no ziplock, dishwasher safe, durable, LEAKPROOF, kid loved-box. I purchased our first Bentgo in 2014 to put bite sized foods and finger sandwiches in for our 1 year old when I was away at work and she was being cared for. Now, that same 1yo is 6 and takes it to school everyday. We rotate 2 others in the mix, because we're a family of 5 and o cant do dishes anymore than I already do. So, I throw the old in the dishwasher and grab a new. 2. Nothing mixes inside. Each compartment is individually sealed. So if you want tacos, chips and salsa put it all in their compartments and NO MIXING.. No soggy chips. 3. It is not insulated. BUT! I tend to pack a few lunches at once, stack them in the fridge, and our 6yo throws it in her lunch bag with a juice and a small ice pack. It stays fresh (no complaints on her end). 4. No, unfortunately it does not do magic. BUT IT IS SO MAGICAL I WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED. It's worth it. They hold up. They make lunches packaging free and without 5 small Tupperware.

Great product, even better company!!
This lunch box is so adorable but more importantly the company really impressed me! If your box is difficult to open and close CALL THE COMPANY. They will take care of you no questions asked. The lady I talked to was so incredibly helpful and immediately replaced my box, expedited the shipping (without me asking), told me to keep the box I currently had so I’d have an extra tray for meal prep, then sent me a link to extend the 2 year warranty an extra year and finally she send me a recipe e-book with meal ideas specifically for the bentgo box. If that isn’t exceptional customer service, I don’t know what is! This company stands behind their products. I purchased a different color box for my friends daughter and the opening and closing worked great so it was for sure a glitch in the product and not a design flaw. Aside from all that, we tested our box once and there were no leaks and clean up was super easy. Win win!!
