Fabulous Watercolor Brush Pens Set!

I am fairly new to working with watercolor but these brush pens are so easy to use. It's great that you don't have to worry about a mess as they are more like markers though can have a little water added with the water brush to really get some shading. They have beautiful bright vibrant colors with great brush tips making it easy to get in small places and the colors are easy to blend. I used them on a piece of cardstock that I had as well as a piece of paper from the sketch book that came with it. I didn't have any problems with ink smearing using them to color a printed image on the cardstock or a stamped image on the paper that came with them. I am so happy to have these brush pens to work with as they are well worth getting!

Impressive

I can't draw so I used them for coloring in a coloring book.The packaging is very eye catching with the bright colors on the black background. Inside you find a plastic that snaps shut to hold all the brushes in place.I have Fibromyalgia and Arthritis so holding on to pens can be a problem.These are a comfortable size to use.Each one also has a cap that is larger and easier to remove and put back on.The thing I didn't expect was the way the brushes are made.I expected 1 hard brush but they are all separate fibers and are so easy to use.They don't require a lot of pressure,don't bleed into next page or back of paper and the colors are so vivid.You also get an art pad with them.This seems to be good quality paper-I just doodled because I can't draw anything.They are a nice set of brushes for the price.

Ahhhhmazing!

I purchased these for my daughter for her birthday. She just turned 17 and has a knack for art so I always try to fuel that fire. She is in love with these! She has already made a drawing for me to have in my office at work and she has made a few homemade cards for birthdays and they are beautiful. The colors are brilliant and she raves about how easy and ergonomically perfect they are.

Let’s. At first glance I wasn’t impressed. The packaging was flimsy and kinda cheap. But inside the box it has a clear plastic box/sleeve which is nice. You can see all the pens. The pens are of decent quality. I especially like that they included a blending pen. My girls are already having fun with these. I’m sure they won’t last long! 🙂

Worth it

I ordered these for my mother who has Alzheimers. She used to draw and seemed to have lost interest in everything. There's perked her up and she uses them on her coloring pages now. Very pretty color, no mess, and easy for her to hold. The only downside for us is the packaging. These come in a nice plastic case that's holds then in place and they don't fall out, but my mom has trouble tracking them out due to her condition. I ended up putting then in a small basket to make it easier. Most people won't have this issue, but some might if these stress intended for children or elderly people. Definitely a must buy, worth the money.

Good for Starters!

I have no experience whatsoever with watercolor but I think this kit will be a great start to me learning how to watercolor paint. The colors bleed really well and they are very easy to use the refillable water pen is really easy to use and I really like that it comes with the package of papers. All of the colors are really beautiful and this is definitely something that I would recommend to my friends .

perfect for beginners!

I got this kit for my wife because she has been interested and wanting to learn how to do hand lettering. This kit is perfect for beginners! There are so many color options and for what you pay for the quality is great. It’s also great that this kit includes a little practice pad with probably 12-15 pages so she was able to play around with the pens right away. The case is also very durable, very happy with this product!

Convenient, saving time by not having to set up a whole new pallet.

I have just started experimenting with these watercolor brush pens and so far I really like them! I haven't painted in quite some time and these pens made it easy for me to jump in and try my hand at it again. (My beginning rusty attempts are uploaded here for an example.) The colors are ready to paint, no setting up a new pallet. The colors are very vibrant, which is good, and if you want more subdued colors a waterbrush is also included to thin down a single color, or to blend multiple colors. You do need to work fast with the water, and have a paper towel handy to blot up excess water, unless your effect is meant for very wet water. You can also use the pen paint and mix your own colors onto a pallet, which is good if you want to fill in a larger area, like shadows, or other custom colors, and use a regular brush if you don't want that further diluted with the waterbrush. Since I haven't painted in awhile I decided to work little and use the smaller sized watercolor paper that comes in this kit, and I am finding it to be of very decent quality. Another nice feature is that there is less clean up, no washing out brushes! I used to be an illustrator, then a computer graphic designer, so I have kinda lost my way and feel for being creative on my own, and these watercolor pens are a nice introduction back into that world. I have joined some friends doing plein air drawing on occasion and these will be perfect to try, live, and easy to use in the outdoors. I look forward to hopefully getting better with them.

These are so cool and mess free!!

I absolutely love these water color markers! It is so cool to be able to "draw" with them then add the water marker in the turn it into the water color painting look! If you love being creative but don't like the mess of painting, these should be your go-to!! Even if you don't mind the mess of paint, these are still really super cool to use, and my 5 year old loves them too!

So, I'm new to watercolor pens like these and I wasn't too sure about them, but I thought why not give them a try and I really like them...I need to practice a little more with them but I attached a picture of a doodle I did just messing around a bit
