It's fairly thin, easy to clean. The little emblem does come off it's safety pinned on. i removed it for my daughters safety.

My daughter loves this!

I purchased the 7-8 size for my barely 6 year old daughter. It fits her well in the body, although it is a tad long. If your child isn't super skinny, I would recommend going up 1 size - the costume is a little stretchy, but not overly accommodating. It lacks a zipper/snaps/buttons, so it's somewhat challenging to get on and off over clothing. Overall it's well-made and I'm satisfied with the purchase.

3 year-old loved it!

My 3 year-old daughter loved this mermaid costume! She is a solid size 3T, but I purchased it in a 4T because I knew that most of the time she would be putting it on over her clothes. It arrived quickly and was packaged well. Would definitely order again.

Made her birthday the best!!!!

My 5 year old had a mermaid and pirate party for her birthday. So why not let her dress up as a mermaid princess for the event. The dress made it thru the party with a breeze and it’s now been added to her dress up princess costume collection

Easy to Wear and a Hit for Dress Up Play

The brooch on the chest area popped off within a day or two of my kid wearing it around the house. It wasn’t very safe anyway, it was a pin type brooch I didn’t like it. But the dress itself is a hit with my daughter and her friends. Easy to wear and not super stuffy.

Great costume for the price

This Ariel costume was much more reasonably priced than other costumes I looked at. To me, it's an authentic Ariel costume for a lot less money. It is a little on the longer size due to the mermaid tail (and my daughter is on the shorter size), but can easily be taken up at the waist. My three and a half year old was thrilled!

Daughter loves!

Bought this as a Christmas present for my 9 yr old daughter and was happy to find her size as she is very tall. This fit perfectly and she was thrilled! Nice dress. I wouldn’t wash it in a machine as it is thin but it fits the bill, is adorable, and the price was right!
