Crispy goodness
This air fryer is great! Extremely easy to use with a dual action dial and does a great job thoroughly cooking food. Meat, frozen fried snacks, etc all cook great in this. This changed the way I cook some foods! The included cooking recommendation pamphlet and cooking ideas is a nice addition. Definitely recommended.

No oil! Yay!
I have an aversion to cooking with oil while at home. I figure my kids get enough of that when we, occasionally, go out to eat. I normally bake their fries and tots but they never come out as evenly crispy as we like. I decided to try air frying their tots today. They didn't have instructions for tots so I went by the frozen, thick cut, french fry guide. 1 1/2 pounds on 400 for 20 minutes. They came out perfect! No oil, no sticking, and nice, crispy tots. Love it! 1 star - awful! want my money back! 2 stars - bad but not horrendous 3 stars - decent/good 4 stars - really good! 5 stars - excellent! definitely recommend!

One of the must have kitchen appliance
Within the past 5 years or so, I'd say the air fryer along with the electric pressure cooker (like an Instant Pot) has really been a valuable addition to the kitchen to the point where I think almost everyone needs one. I already had the previous version of the Chefman TurboFry and it's been working great. Though after some continuous usage, the metal tray will show some wear and tear. The version I'm reviewing now is version 3. In my attached pictures, the version 3 is on the right while the version 2 is on the left. There's not many things that have changed from v2 to v3. Though they did move the temperature setting from the top to the front. There's also a bright blue LED light that's always one when the air fryer is plugged in. The old v2 used to turn green when the air fryer reached the set temperature, but this new one doesn't. The metal tray and basket are dishwasher safe. Though after cooking the stickiest and oiliest foods, it may require a quick soak or pre-wash before the dishwasher. Overall, the functional aspect of the air fryer remains consistent. Set the temp and timer and let it do it's magic. Now let's talk about the food. The air fryer is great at both cooking and reheating. For most items such as chicken wings, fries, or steaks, all you have to do is brush them with a bit of seasoning and olive oil and they'll turn out great. The wings and fries will be crispy and steaks will be cooked nicely from top to bottom. The trick to crispiness is to not take out the food too early to flip/rotate. For example, chicken wings will take about 20 minutes to cook but it's best to flip them after they've been cooking for 15 minutes. So as long as you flip them toward the end of the cooking cycle, the food will turn out great. I've made the mistake of flipping and flopping midway through the cooking cycle and generally don't get the results I want. Overall, I believe you can almost replace a convection toaster with an air fryer. But I haven't seen an air fryer that could heat up a frozen toaster. So until that happens, I'll have to keep both on my countertop.

I LOVE THIS APPLIANCE! I used this for the first time to make mozzarella sticks and I can't stop! This air fryer made crispy, melty mozzarella sticks that were FROZEN....FROZEN I TELL YOU!....just 12 minutes before. The quick guide is so easy to follow and gives you hints and tricks to make sure what you're cooking turns out perfect. Also being able to put the tray and cup in the dishwasher is epic. I live in a smaller apartment and I found counter space for this life changing kitchen device. I proceeded to make bacon, pizza rolls, reheat pizza (Chefman reheated pizza is better than ordered fresh pizza, just saying), and make chicken wings. The recipe book included gave me so many ideas! The temperature and timer are on dials on the front of the air fryer and are easy to adjust and change. The indicator light glows blue when the basket is in place and ready to cook, and then turns red when the timer has started and the heating has begun. If the cup is removed, the heat stops but the time keeps going. It's really easy to use and it works quickly. It has so many uses I think it's a great piece of equipment to have in your kitchen arsenal.

The Frydaddy Slayer
I once scoffed at the idea of an air fryer. However, I have seen the light and am now converted. This thing is awesome. It's become our new favorite kitchen appliance. We brush spiced avocado oil over chunked potatoes and they taste much better than when cooked in the oven or frying pan. So do store bought fries and onion rings. We have cooked veggie burgers, zucchini, chicken wings, and even the sweet potato recipe from the included cookbook. Surprisingly, everything has turned out great. For us, there was zero learning curve. We simply followed the directions and adjusted slightly on the fry. The downside to air-frying is that you will never get food as brown as deep frying. If you try, you will overcook your food and may even burn the edges. However, the color is mostly a visual quality. The food does still develop the same desirable crispy crust and texture, and it tastes much better than deep fried. You actually taste the food and not the oil. WARNING - like all similar metal appliances, this thing really smells the first time you use it. This is to be expected and is not a product flaw. After you clean it and before first use, take it outside and set it on high and let it burn-in for a full cycle. Then you are ready to cook in it. The appliance itself seems to be good quality. I can't find any major flaws. There are silicone tips on the internal shelf and you need to be careful you don't loose them down the drain when cleaning. Hand cleaning is easy. The mechanical controls on this are a positive. Electronics would probably not last long given the heat an air fryer generates. Finally, the air that comes out the bottom is very hot so keep heat sensitive objects at a reasonable distance. In general, this is an upgrade over a deep-fryer and you will get a lot more use from it because an air-fryer is much more versatile. I don't think I will ever need to deep-fry anything ever again. Over time, the savings from not using all that disposable oil would certainly cover the cost of this machine.

My go-to appliance. Buy one!
This is a fantastic appliance. In the short time I’ve owned it I’ve cooked frozen food such as fries chicken nuggets etc, Salmon fillets and steak. I usually steam veges in the microwave but and going to try doing some baked. Blown away how great it it. Fast, simple. Zero oil. And so easy to clean, even after cooking steak. Soapy rinse and wipe with a damp cloth. Done. Do your self a favor. Buy one!

Easy To Use Air Fryer!
I am impressed with this product to say the least! We had a small party at my house and decided to try out the new air fryer for a few appetizers. Boy - were they a hit! This product was easy to set up: removed the stickers, a quick wash with mild soapy water of the tray and a towel dry and we were ready to go right out of the box. The mechanical timer could use a few more dots to indicate the time selected, but very easy to turn and use. Once the time is set - like any mechanical timer, it is hard to lessen the time selected but not impossible. Every type of food we have tried has turned out great! Good Size Capacity - were able to put 20 Mozzarella sticks in at once and they all turned out crispy. Would highly recommend this product if you are looking for an easy to use air fryer. Includes some great recipes as well - looking forward to trying all types of food.

AWESOME kitchen appliance
I love this air fryer! I want to marry it on top of a mountain I love it so much. But really, this thing is so useful and easy. The size of this one is just right, it fits on my counter, underneath the cabinets but I can still make enough food for 2-3 people in it. We have made roasted zucchini, LOTS of wings, tater tots, bacon and more in it. It has all turned out really well. The fryer comes with a cookbook that lists the temps and cook time for a variety of foods. This guy is super easy to use. It has two dials, one for the temperature and one for the time. I also love that it is very easy to clean! The grate (grill?) and the basket can go on the top part of the dishwasher. You can take out the grate part of the basket out to wipe down before putting each into the dishwasher and I have found that makes a big difference. So far each part has held up well during multiple washes.

Easy to use and clean
Cooked up a batch of french fries for the 4th of July weekend. Took 20minutes at 400deg, pulled them out to toss once halfway through. Came out tasty, crispy but not dry, and not oily. There is a quick guide, and recipe book included. Was really easy to clean. It takes up less space than a bread machine, but more than a toaster, but for the overall capacity, this is a good compromise or is expected.

Healthier without all the oil/convenient
I love this air fryer. The basket and rack are dishwasher safe, which is a major plus. I had heard with air fryers your food doesn’t get very crispy, but mine gets plenty crispy. I think it depends on the amount of food you are doing at one time. I have tried to keep the portions to a minimum to get maximum airflow. I can do a meal to feed me my husband and child in one go. Just make sure if you have food layered on top of itself to shake the food, and use a tong to mix it up every so often, so that the airflow reaches all the food. Then you shouldn’t have too many problems with the food getting not getting crispy. I love fried foods , so a big plus, is it’s much healthier without all the oil from an oil fryer.
