Film gear is pricey! Well at least it used to be. Having used the much older and far more expensive predecessors, this little Tilta does an enormous job for the money. You’re probably not going to be snapping zooms on a monster Optimo with this follow focus, but for standard glass it has worked a treat and the tiny form factor is a bit plus for road warriors. Can’t beat the value when it rents for less than a single day rental of the heavy duty alternatives.

cons first: Motor isn't too fast or strong. It's not slow, but it's not fast, ya know? I had some issues trying to mount it to my camera rig using the base 15mm rods on my setup, but if I used the mounting plate that comes with the system, I can screw it in sideways onto my smallrig cage and it can reach my lens just fine that way. Pros: hella cheap and hella nice for the money. I'd recommend it unless you need a powerful motor, in which case, just go with the nucleus-m instead. Although $1000, it is actually a pretty good bargain if you think about everything it comes with.

Absolutely incredible value. The only set back is that the motor requires external power if your camera doesn’t have the input, but other than that it is a must have for anyone that prefers to use manual focus.

So far I like this little remote system a lot. Very handy when the camera is on a jib and the A-B controls are very nice. Will be getting the D-Tap cable for convenience. Only problem I've had is the display on the remote is teeny tiny. Clear, just really small (even with reading glasses on)!

I absolutely love this follow focus system the main control is super smooth I could play with it forever. Finding power connections for motor though are a little difficult but whatever it works perfectly for the dji ronin s/sc.

If you have a manual camera this is really the only follow focus you need....Welll unless you buy another one for your zoom lens. Very smooth focusing. Practice a lot and you will get better with focusing quickly.

This thing is good wish motor had built in battery but have many workarounds works like a charm

Gone are the days when 15K was the starting price for a good follow focus system. This one is so small and light it permantly lives on my cameras. My old systems costing thousands are now collecting dust.

World perfect for me.

Great product value for money
