A WORKHORSE
We make breakfasts and dinners for the community once a month. This pot is a work horse. It's sturdy and heavy, and can take abuse.. just what we need. I love it so much, I bought this, and others of this brand, for home use.

Fantastic quality stock pot!
Wow what a find.... I started out looking to get a larger Tramolina pot like my smaller one, because of the quality...but those puppies are spendy! I started looking at other pot reviews and came across this one... it is a 12 quart and was slightly bigger than the 10 quart I was looking for... but though for the price, I’d go for it. I use it mainly for boiling up bones for broth. This pan is the real deal... stainless, excellent quality, nice weight and a double heavy duty bottom. And it was about a third less than the Tramolina and basically the same quality. You will not go wrong on this one. My only small issue is that it doesn’t have a glass top... but for the price... I will live with it and love it!

Love it!
Looks great - perfect size for soups and stews - Full of tap water it came to a boil on a gas burner in about 20 minutes, which is better than the one it replaced. I have ordered several pieces of Cooks Standard cookware, and I love every one of them. You don't necessarily have to pay name brand prices to get good stuff.

Nice heavy bottom reducing scorching
I use this pot at least 4 times per week! Nice heavy bottom reducing scorching. Love it!

Great Stockpot for a very reasonable cost.
If you've gone shopping in brick and mortar stores for a large stockpot, you probably know how expensive they can be. This one is a great bargain. I use it primarily for three purposes. The first is, what a surprise, making stock. The second is for water bath canning, and the third is as a vessel for when I'm cooking sous vide. It has held up to all these uses, and being dropped on my tile floor a few times, very well. The lid fits nicely, and the whole thing just does its job well. No need to buy a more expensive stockpot. I have used this on three types of burner. An outside gas one, a ceramic cooktop, and a portable induction burner. It works fine on all of them. Even the induction burner, which is a great advantage over a similar aluminium stockpot. Even if you don't have an induction burner at the moment, there is always a chance you will down the road. The fact that an inexpensive stockpot like this works on induction burners is a great plus.

Sturdy!
This is perfect! There are so many awful thin stockpots, and then there are the $200 professional ones. This one is sturdy enough to not bend at all when you fill it and move it, but it's not an overbuilt Mercedes cookpot. The pot is perfect, the lid is perfect, and the handles are perfect. Even the packaging is perfect. It won't arrive dented because they used custom cardboard inserts inside an oversized box.

I'm impressed!
I got this to replace a huge cast aluminum stock pot that I passed on to my daughter. So far I've used it to make Mango Jam, Caramel Apple Coffee Jam, and tonight I made stuffed pepper soup in it. I could not be more pleased with my purchase! This pot is a heavy-duty workhorse. Handles the high heat required for jams, and I haven't had anything stick to the bottom yet. Quite easy to clean, as well. It is a tad bulky, but that was my choice-I wanted a big one. I highly recommend this pot for any large-scale cooking job.

Worth every penny
**Update** Excellent piece of equipment. This kettle performed very well during it's first use for homebrewing. One word of caution though, the handles will get hot during the boil so be careful if you attempt to move it during this phase. Feels heavy duty. Would buy again. This item arrived in excellent condition. It was purchased for the purpose of brewing small batch beer on a propane burner. Will update after my first brew.

Great for a large stock pot
I make large batches of soup every now and then, and we just got an induction cooktop so my former stock pot would not work on this type of cooktop, so I needed a replacement. Although a local store showed to have what I needed, when I checked in person, the pot they had appeared to be thin, and less quality than I had hoped for, so I found this one on Amazon. After looking over the specifications on it, I decided to take the chance and purchase it. I was pleased when it arrived. It is a little heavy, but not too heavy to handle, and the weight made it seem of good quality to last. I made a big pot of my homemade tomato soup in it and have used it several times since then, and I am happy to report I am very pleased with it.

A must have in ever serious cook’s kitchen!!!
I purchased this to make large volumes of soups and have been very happy with the quality of this pot! The bottom is heavy and thick so you won’t scorch the bottom portion of your food if left to simmer and when sautéing you’re initial ingredients when making stocks. It’s incredibly easy to clean and is very durable! Would buy again 100 times over!
