I needed to replace a windshield wiper fluid pump on my BMW, and strangely enough, that requires that the front right tire be removed to get at its location. The repair promised to be agrevating so the last thing I wanted was to start the job by needing to wrestle with frozen lug bolts. I ordered this lug wrench both for the great reviews but it looked like I could get maximum torque with it's design. Construction is industrial grade! The parts slip together easily and you're in business in seconds. Thankfully, the garage that had put my tires on had evidently torqued them to the correct 85 foot pounds instead of just riveting them on carelessly, so the extra torque the bar length allowed made them loosen almost effortlessly. I love that the part your weak hand holds on the wrench during use allows it to freewheel as it turns. Great design, high quality, heavy duty, breaks down to a compact size for minimal storage area. If you need a lug wrench or want to upgrade for peace of mind, I can't recommend this one highly enough! It checks all the boxes.

Nice kit. Bought this for our horse trailer. It is of good quality. Some have commented on the extension handle being loose. There is a fix for this. There is a groove in the inner handle a couple inches from the end. I put a small o-ring in that groove and that provides a friction fit between the inner handle and the extension. The two detent balls in the inner handle fit into the groove in the head of the tool-one position for use with the inner handle only as a "tee" handle, the other for use with the extension for more leverage. Be sure everything is in its proper position before applying a lot of torque.

It's a good socket wrench with a breaker bar and accompanying "cheater" bar that gives you more length and leverage. It fits tight enough on the lugs and has that extra leverage you need when time and heat have set the lugs too tight for the supplied wrench to work. Also easier to employ that a regular tire tool or 4 way. Comes in a sack to keep it all together.

With this wrench, it's piece of cake to take off the wheels on a X5. It's pretty intuitive to use. I have no read the instructions. There is a ball spring at the end that probably use to hold the horizontal piece in place. But it didn't seem to stay there securely. The handle also seems to be quite loose with the other part. I am not sure if that by design or not. Again, no big deal. At this price point, I am very satisfied.

I just received this in the mail today, so I haven’t actually used it on my car yet, but I was immediately impressed with the design, and the sturdiness of the tool. I was a little hesitant buying a tire iron with so many moving parts, and being unsure of how well it would be made. Seemed like a bit of a risk. But it seems like it’s designed well, it’s really conveniently sized when broken down and in the bag, and it also seems like it’s gonna hold up and do the job I need it to. So not much more I could ask.

There seem to be at least 2-3 different ways to assemble this thing for use, but it works great once you get it together. After failing to loosen lug nuts on one wheel with a 18V Milwaukee 1/2-drive impact driver, this was able to break the nuts loose at a fraction of the force I had expected. Breaks down and stores nicely in a gear bag (rothco 24" duffel) that I also use to store/carry off-road recovery gear. Much less grunting required than a typical "spider", and miles better than the OEM tool that comes with most vehicles that still include a spare.

I am very happy with this breaker bar/tire wrench tool. I was working on my Ford F150 in the shop and tried to remove wheels with the factory wrench. Did not provide enough leverage for me so I started to look around for alternative. I found this wrench and purchased it. It seems to be very good quality and the socket fit snuggly on the lug nuts. It was easy to spin lug nuts and re-tighten with this tool. It is stored in cab for use the next time a wheel needs to be removed. Good value.

Very convenient socket wrench/tool. Comes in a sturdy sheath. I keep it as back-up in the trunk. Many different uses. Assembles and disassembles real fast. Sockets are chrome-vanadium. Gave me extra leverage as a T-wrench to hold taps in place to drill and restore stripped threads for M12 bolts. Worked well for me.

Wonderful tool Works great, study, quick and easy. Woke up to a flat tire on my Granddaughters Forester. Grabbed my new wrench and buzzed the tire off for a plug and back on in no time. Nice to have handy for any car, I expect to buy more, one for each vehicle as these are much better than the short handled factory lug wrenches.

Arrived on time. Product is high quality, easy to use and with the sliding handle you can vary the amount of torque you apply to the lug nut My only con, and it is very minor, is the length of the socket arm could be about 1" to 1-1/2" longer for better clearance on your hand when using extended position on handle. My cars honey comb wheels and fender Flair's only provided about a 3/4" gap between handle and fender.
