Attractive, sturdy, functional
First off, the inside of the pan is very pretty. Just having it around makes your kitchen look nicer. It's a very pleasant design on both the top and bottom. The material is thick, making the pan feel heavy, solid, and sturdy. Despite its thickness, it conducts heat extremely well, so it doesn't need a high setting to cook well. The no-stick coating works extremely well, though you should avoid metal utensils like the plague with it. Keep them as far away as possible; use a silicon spatula or something to stir or remove food. No idea what "stone-derived" means, but it seems to be just a PTFE coating. Avoid the Stone Earth lid, though; seems it doesn't hold up to heat well and has straight-up exploded. The pan is fine, however, and easy to recommend.

Best pan ever!
I have had this pan for about 9 months now and I am very pleased with it! My previous pans, even ceramic always lost their non-stick quality fairly quickly and were thin enough to be easily burned. It may not be perfect in terms of chemicals, but it is definitely better and it is fabulous for non-stick. I only use plastic ware with it, so scratching isn't a problem. I love it's heaviness. It takes a little longer to heat up, but the heat is more evenly spread. Because it is heavy, I would add a handle to the opposite side for more ease in moving it. Otherwise, it is the best pan I have ever had and I will buy more in the future!

Seems good quality. Not PTFE free, no ceramic.
First Impressions: Just got this pan. First impressions out of the box are good. Pan is hefty, pretty thick which is good. Nice flat bottom and they include a nice little pan protector if you stack your pans. (Pic included...set a plate on it cuz it didn't wanna lay flat right out of the package.) Mine hang so I probably won't use it for now. Coating: Not sure about the "Stonehenge" coating. The label inside the pan says "Greblon C3" is used (not C3+). However on Greblon's site C3 isn't even listed as being ceramic reinforced. It is only listed as reinforced PTFE. Which brings me to the next thing, I don't personally care but the coating is only PFOA free, not PTFE free. If you're looking for PTFE free though, keep looking, your princess is in another castle. Aside from that the coating feels solid and looking at the edges seems fairly thick. With it being PTFE and not ceramic based though definitely avoid metal utensils like the plague. Some ceramic coatings can take them...This will not. From what I can tell there is no ceramic in the plain C3 so treat it like a normal nonstick pan. (Source: Forgot Amazon won't allow links of any kind...anyway google Greblon C3 and it is pretty easy to find their chart with the different coatings.) Build quality: Initial impressions are build quality is good. Three rivet handle should stay in place for a good long time. The silicon is comfortable to hold and solidly bonded to the handle. Page says it is heat resistant silicon but page nor manual says to what temp. So I would lean towards "Not oven safe". The bottom of the pan as received is very flat. Time will tell if it domes or not. It's fairly thick and heavy so I'm hoping it doesn't. There's a photo as well showing my test of the bottom of the pan. Had it sitting on a flat counter after the first wash. Water bead sits in the middle of the pan (or wherever you move it to) without running to the edges like it would if it was domed. Coating and outer enamel are very even and there are no strange smells or anything that I can detect. Final thoughts: Initial impressions have me satisfied with my purchase. Though I am a little disappointed that the coating does not seem to have any ceramic in it the rest of the build quality seems quite nice. I will update this review once I have used it for a few weeks. PS: For anyone wanting to know if lids fit, it's 10 1/8" Included a pic with tape measure. UPDATE: Because as my single commenter points out, first impression reviews are not the be all end all. Here is an update. It has been about 1 year and 8 months since I bought this pan. The coating is not *perfectly* nonstick anymore but it has held up better than any nonstick pan I've had before. The biggest issue is one scratch from a roommate who has been appropriately summarily flogged for using a metal utensil in my wonderful nonstick pan. Don't use metal utensils in any nonstick pan and expect them to last as long. That's just good reasoning. So downside, things will stick to that spot without a little oil or something in the pan. Eggs will also stick slightly at this point. I think the pan may have also been overheated a time or two by the same roommate because the coating in the center (where the flame is on our gas stove) is just ever so slightly more tan than the rest. Need to hide my good pans... Anyway overall, it's nearly two years later and this nonstick is pretty darn good still despite some abuse. Which is more than I can say for most of the nonsticks I've owned.

REALLY NO STICK
Took awhile to get it, but it was worth the wait. So far it's a dream for everything I've prepared. I wanted a pan I could use on my Nu-Wave Induction burner, it had to be a great no stick and PFOA & APEO free. Over the past year I've purchased 2 copper fry pans, the first from Bed Bath & Beyond (Nu-Wave) was only no stick the first time I used it, then everything stuck - I threw it away. The second I bought from Amazon (Almond) been using it a couple of months, no stick on eggs but sticks on fish, however it cleans well with scrubbing. The Stone Earth is totally non-stick and cooks and cleans beautifully. Very hi quality looking. If I have any problems I'll report back. If it continues like this I'll be back to buy another in a different size.

Make the best overeasy eggs!
This is my all-time favorite frying pan. I first ordered the smaller one made by Ozeri and was so happy with the functionality of it that I just had to get the matching 12" pan. Unless you are the worst cook in the world, your food will not stick to this pan. It is true that the bottom does heat up quite a bit so keep an eye on the stovetop heat setting. These frying pans are THE BEST for overeasy eggs. Highly recommend!

Great Heat Distribution
This frying pan is the greatest. You use lower heat to cook with because of the fantastic heat distribution. The food browns very well and you don't have to worry about using specialized utensils to cook with. We have been using this pan for at least 6 months and it is not showing any signs of scratching or lack of it's non-stick capabilities. Love this pan and use it at least once a day.

Read the instructions before use & you'll be happy with your purchase
Read the instructions before use & you'll be happy with your purchase. I see WAY too many reviews on Amazon of people complaining about products they order & giving them horrible ratings because they don't read the instructions. They included them for a reason. Read them and stop being lazy. If you season the pan before each use with a little coating of oil (like the instructions advise) the pan works as advertised & fantastic. You don't need to pour a bunch of oil in the pan. Simply pour a little and use a paper towel to lightly coat the pan. For instance, I literally just used the pan and haven't season it since about 2 uses ago and it was starting to stick a little. I'm cool with it because it's my fault for not following the instructions. Great product! I'll most likely grab a larger version of this pan at some point.

This pan is great! I wanted a good non-stick replacement pan and ...
This pan is great! I wanted a good non-stick replacement pan and I ordered T-fal red dot ones and they were horrible. This pan is well built and heavy for even cooking. It has a comfortable handle and great non-stick performance. I put cooking equipment to the test every day by frying, sautee-ing, roasting, poaching etc. When I find something that is built like this I want everyone to know how well it performs. This is a great pan for the money. It has a limited lifetime warranty so if you take care of it should last a long time. I imagine I will end up scratching it when I store it with my other pans but will see how well it stands up. Buy this! The picture attached shows how this pan is even and doesn't let liquids pool to the outside of the pan like the T-fal ones with the red dots. This pan is the one on the right side

Wonderful pans
I liked this pan so much that I later bought the 8 and 12 inch sizes. I like the even way they cook. They use much less heat to cook compared to other pans I have purchased. They are a nice weight. Season the pans as directed and they are non-stick. Clean up after use is a snap! I used the first pan for about a month before I purchased the additional two. Love them!
