I had to make this review and give this emulsion scoop coater a FIVE star rating. I purchased an expensive one from Ryonet before and it was a pain to use! I watched videos to get better and kept thinking I was doing something wrong. When I purchase this scoop coater, I was extremely impressed because it made costing my screens FAST & EASY. I would recommend to anyone.

First tries went great.

I'm trying my hand at screen printing. A scoop coater seemed a bit overkill for my rinky dink operation, but I couldn't figure how else I could get the emulsion on the screen. I was able to coat my screens on the first try, and it looked just like the videos I was watching. I'd recommend it. Even if you won't use it much, emulsion is hard to work with, and this thing wrangles it and makes a nice, even coating.

Right tool for the job. Works great for coating screens and I like the fact that one side is rounded for a silky smooth look.

Great coater for the price!

My expensive, high-quality coater is MIA so I purchased this one in a pinch. I had very low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised. I've gotten two clean, even coats out of it. I can't speak to how well it will hold up over time but it certainly served its purpose for me and makes a great backup.

Honest Review:

Received 1 day late but no problem. I haven’t used yet so cannot give a full review, as the material may be inclined to rust. Pros: Straight edges, comes with rubber guards for edges so they’re not bent when not using, seems sturdy for years of use. Cons: None that I can see yet.

Great scoop.

Fantastic scoop. Seems very solidly made, and all edges smooth. Doesnt seem like the most stable base to set it down on, but has not tipped over. Trough isn't very large either so wont hold a ton of emulsion.
