After trying several brands of curtains, including Eclipse which purports to block all light and having to return them because they absolutely did not, I tried these for my bedroom. When I opened the box, I noticed no chemical odor that sometimes accompanies certain materials and also, happily, once hung, no wrinkles. The second photo is in the AM facing the sun and the next day I remedied that by ensuring that the outside edges covered the window sides. I may add a valance for the top. The first pic shows that these curtains block out the street light right outside my window. Truth in advertising- these are in fact, light blocking curtains. The fabric is nicer than others and also have a bit of a "linen" look to them. Proof that you can have a white or light curtain and, clock out the light. Very happy with this purchase.

Finally!!! I got blackout curtain for my kids’ room!! Since my 2 kids are sensitive to light, they took really long to get sleep and woke up so early.. I searched for a curtain alomst one month and finally got it. I had another one before so replaced to this one, and so successful!!!!

We bought AmazonBasics Room Darkening Blackout Curtains because reviewers raved about them. OK they got the room dark, but they looked like they belonged in a hospital room. SO UGLY!!!! Then we got these and they're great! They have the same room darkening plastic-y fabric as the Amazon Basics one but with this nice linen-y overlay so they look great in our living room. Plus the grommet hang nicer than the old fashioned curtains. Love them. I hope people realize there are better options out there.

I really like these. I live in Arizona. These by far are the best but are a tad pricey in my opinion. I did buy 7 sets for my entire house. I wasnt sure if I'd like them being two pieces but I do. It's better than them being all rubber like the pair I purchased for my bedroom. These are a true white not a grey which I wanted. Real white and blackout are very difficult to find so I'm pleased with these. I'll update once I know if they last through the summer. Good texture...

I just received my draperies and hung them the same night because the were packaged perfectly. Within the last few days, I’m amazed how much warmer my living room is. I plan to order more for the master bedroom. Of course, I have not washed them yet, but I’m certain their guidelines will produce good results. This company is reputable and cares about the consumer. I’m sure that if there is an issue, they will quickly make it right. Thank you Rose Home Fashion!

I put these up in a bedroom that gets a lot of light from a street light. They do a good job of blocking that and sunlight during the day. I used a wrap around curtain rod and that helps keep the sides of the windows blocked. You would have to use a valance on top to get complete blockage. The fabric is attractive and looks more expensive than it is. I washed them and dried on gentle heat to get the fold marks out and they came out great. They hang nicely. I am going to order some for my living room. I think they’ll help keep the heat out this summer.

I NEVER write amazon reviews but I had to write one for this product because I am that impressed. I occasionally work the night shift and am sensitive to light to the point where even the bit of sunlight coming under my bedroom door from the living room is enough to keep me up. I have been so frustrated shopping for blackout curtains because the only ones that work seem to be dark colors (which don't look good in my room). I bought several pairs of white "blackout curtains" and they all let some amount of light through. These are the only pair that work as well as the foil that I used to have taped over my windows. The also look so nice and expensive. They don't just look "good for blackout curtains," they look as good as the curtains I would have bought if I was buying regular curtains! I attached 2 pictures, the first is a picture of my iPhone with the flashlight set to the brightest setting behind these curtains. The second is what my iPhone flashlight looks like behind another very highly rated brand of "blackout curtains" I ordered from amazon.

I keep forgetting to write a review because I need to take a picture in the daylight.. But this is one that I really want to write. Even though I still haven’t taken a picture in the daylight. I was so skeptical of buying these. I had another pair of white blackout curtains up before I got these, but they just didn’t black out the room enough. My husband works shift work so he sleeps during the day. Let me tell you.... these are SO WORTH the money. I’m not going to lie and say it completely blocks out every bit of light. But the light comes from the top. I think if I move the curtain rod up a little further and over a little on each side, it would probably block 98% of the light. Amazing product. Looks great. Hangs great. No complaints at all!

Blackout and high quality. Love them.

I love these curtains. They make my room look like a hotel room. The last picture shows that one was a little shorter than the other but it’s not to much of a difference. And be careful vecause the front of the curtain can tear kind of easily. They are super heavy and durable though. And they keep the cold out from the windows. I would definitely recommend!
