Stable rooftop kayak carrier

This kayak carrier works great on top of my Ford Explorer. I bought this carrier because my Sun Dolphin 12 Boss was too wide and heavy for the J hook style of carrier. Using two straps around the Kayak and ropes off the front and back kept the kayak steady at highway speeds. I did use upgraded ratcheting straps versus the ones provided with the carrier.

Money well spent

I used these on a 2007 Toyota Sequoia with a standard Toyota roof rack. They are fast to install, and just what I needed for a 17 foot Old Town canoe. Very secure. Great product .

It does its job

This rack in combination with Reese Towpower Canoe Loader allows me to carry 38” wide canoe on a cx-9 factory roof rack. I can easily load/unload it myself and it’s rock solid!

Easy, quick, secure

First time owning a canoe/ first time strapping one to a roof rack. This could not have made it easier. Can be done with one person and takes no more than 5-10 minutes max. Would recommend to anyone.

Perfect!

For the price, you can't go wrong. These things are heavy duty, and well built. I use them to transport a 16'ish canoe, and to keep it from sliding around on the round bars of my Yakima rack. They work perfectly, and are a far sight cheaper than Yakima's offering.
