Easy to Use Drawing Tool

Looks like a great product. Can’t wait to use it in the studio. So easy to use you don’t need directions.

Good deal. Functional and easy to use. It is not an expensive name brand tool so do not expect that.

It is lightweight plastic but feels sturdy enough. For the money I feel like it was a great deal. It is exactly what I expected. Functional and easy to use. I did not expect a high quality name brand tool That would last forever for this low price so was very satisfied with the product.

Seems it will do the job!

As a novice artist.... it will be the first time using scale divider. The product seems to do the job it is intended for. I do agree with other reviewers of this product when they describe it as flimsy. I could see it breaking easily if not taken care of properly. I will say to those who are considering this product... you get what you pay for, but also, I am pleased with my purchase since it is affordable!

Learn to draw to scale with this tool

Proper proportions is the key to successful realistic drawings. This tool enables the drawer to retain proper proportions whether coping as is, enlarging or reducing the size of the original subject. Adjust one set of pointers to the original subject size and the other pointer end reflects the proper portion for the drawing. Easily adjusted to accommodate correct proportions; however, it relies on friction to hold the selected setting so care must be taken to retain the setting. Would be nice if there were a method to secure the setting as it's moved about during the drawing experience. A definite tool "to have" for the beginner or experienced artist.

Better than closing one eye and using your thumb

It does what is supposed to do. If you know how to use one it can make drawing what you see proportionally easier. If you are curious how to use one there are a few good videos on YouTube you can checkout.

I am so exited to get and try this drawing tool! I have never used one before though I have been creating art for a long time. I selected this Pixiss product because it was economical for the first time using it! Oh my gosh! Fun and easy to use first time out! I wanted to work specifically to help me to draw eyes! It's great! Oh, and because I am a Prime member, it was delivered in two days! The inside packaging was too flimsy and was a bit smushed and torn, but the product was fine.~

Very good tool but needs some modification to be perfect

These dividers have propelled me to the next level with my art! I can now do a scaled up drawing from a photograph, have a master drawing and transfer with tracing paper to my watercolor (or whatever) page so I can repetitively try different color arrangements. The only thing I needed to fix with the dividers is that they don't positively lock in place and can slip while transferring measurements. I replaced the plastic slip pin with a locking thumb screw with is more positive for locking the dividers. They aren't precision instruments but are good enough for drawings.
