Fixed my issue!

2009 Silverado that decided one day to stop shifting. I followed the cable and found that the end was off the transmission. After doing some research, I purchased this kit. Took all of under ten minutes to remove my remaining old grommet and replace it. Went in smooth and the little tool that comes with it makes it a breeze. After install, I replaced my cable and have it a good tug and the damn thing stayed in!! Great purchase, I suggest this to anyone who has this problem and isn't exactly mechanically inclined

Worked as advertised

Be sure to COMPLETELY remove the old bushing. I fought trying to install this until I realized that the outer edge of the old bushing had "fused" to the inside of the cable fitting and tore away while I pulled it out... That part of the old bushing filled the recessed area where the new bushing was supposed to be seated. I needed to scrape the old bushing out with an all. Once the old bushing was removed, the new one slid right in.

Fast & Easy Fix

This product was simple to install and just what I needed to fix the problem of cable not staying connected to transmission. Simple solution for a big problem and saved me time and money .

It was a little hard to press into place, but it worked and saved me the cost of buying a new cable.

Very pricey for what you get, but...

I bought one for my 2011 F250 torqueshift 6 transmission. It works perfectly. It comes with two in the package and each are a bit different from one another (including a color difference). I think either would have worked fine for my application and I kept the second for a spare in my glove compartment.
