I’m giving this 5 stars because it works well and had I read the description I would’ve bought something else more suited to my needs, can’t knock the product the mistake was mine. This is apparently designed for outdoor use or use where it might get wet. I’m not sure how waterproof it actually is but it’s got a really thick silicone type of coating. Which is where I ran into problems. I bought this to cut up and use it around the house as secondary lighting. I also didn’t realize that this didn’t come with any connectors at all so I had to order those separately which added another day to what was supposed to be a project that would only take a few hours. Again, my fault for not reading the description all the way through. So I bought the connectors and quickly realized that because of the thick layer of silicone, this strip won’t work with any kind of “L” shaped connector, at least none that I could find. Eventually I had to peel off the silicone near the contact points so that I could use the “L” connectors. Also worth noting, and maybe this was evident and just yet another thing I overlooked.. this is two separate strips connected to one controller. I assumed/thought the strips would be separate and have a separate controller. After a painstaking process of peeling silicone and squeezing the strip into the connectors, I have one project done which was lighting my closet that didn’t have any kind of light in it. Long story short, if you’re buying these to cut them up and put them around the back of your tv for example, you want something else because using connectors with this strip takes an amount of determination that just isn’t worth it in my opinion. On the plus side though, it looks cool and the adhesive seems to be sticking well. Although one side of the strip is a different color than the rest of the strip that it’s attached to (on the purple setting one strip lights up red) but I suspect it’s a problem with the connector I’m using and not the strip itself because it was all the same color before I cut it. So I can’t use all the colors but I found one combination that I can live with. Kind of has a GTA Vice City vibe to it lol

Best LED strip ever

I was a bit skeptical at the beginning but after seeing the final result I loved it, I added them to a television set project and they were perfect, very good adhesion and very good material quality. Highly recommended

Very cool lights that add a fun new look to my living room!

This is absolutely perfect for my setup! I needed the light to have a break in between each set to hide it behind the tv. It’s perfect to have the brightness high for some alternate lighting or turn the brightness all the way down to enjoy mood lighting. Comes with a bunch of preset colors however you can create your own color for the DIY buttons. They stick very well to the underside of my windowsill so no problems there! Only thing I could say would make it better is a slightly longer remote sensor. Would highly recommend though!!

Bright, Colorful, and love the remote

I bought a pair of 32' sets to act as interior indirect ceiling lighting along the perimeter ledge of our 16'x16' pavilion. They work fantastic. The ceiling is pine planks that are stained brown, and still these lights are able to apply their colors to that surface to full colorful effect -- very impressive. And the remote allows easy control of the colors and ther transitions/fading if you want that. Couldn't be more pleased, and just bought 2 more sets to use for accent our new bar.

Very very bright!!! Unbelievable customer service... had slight problem with remote... answer within 24 hrs, got replacement and they followed up... never saw such great customer service... will buy again and again.. this was my 4th purchase

Awesome Product

Used these for my son's dorm room and they were super easy to set up and the boys loved them. Remote works awesome and so many different color lights to choose from. Ordering a second set to complete the room!

Great set of lights for backlighting my tv

The packaging the box came in was surprisingly high-quality which leads me to believe that the product was high-quality as well. 3M brand adhesion stickers on the back of the strips and the controller were a positive surprise. So far I am happy with the lights there a decently bright and have a nice range of color the remote control or feels cheap but it works just fine. Im using them to backlight my TV and 32 feet was way too much and have it coiled up and taped to the back of a wire behind the TV.

Very easy and very fun!

Super easy to put where I wanted, and they are very bright. The remote makes it easy to change the color.
