Worked fine. Fixed drifting joystick. Tools and replacement screws are helpful. Calibrated the joystick from Switch menu. Good to go. Not too hard after watching YouTube video. Tweezers are a little flimsy but did the job. Joystick caps looked a little different than original but who cares. Have spares in case my son wants to change colors.

I bought this for my 17 year old son. He wanted to try to repair his Joycon himself. It worked great, he had a good time doing it and it gave him some confidence in his ability for future projects. He also liked that it had color choices. I appreciate the option of not having to pay a small fortune to replace it!

This product saved me money buying two new Joycon, My 16 year old child was able to replace the joystick using a guide from youtube. I would do it my self, but my child has better eyes. Both joy cons were back in service in a short time.

I had 2 left hand joycons that the button that activated when you push down on the stick didn’t work. No click. A pair of replacement L/R is $80. A left hand unit alone is $50. You can get them for slightly less if you buy used/reconditioned. Well, that made the $15 for this pair of replacement joysticks look pretty good. I didn’t watch the video on how to change the sticks (and still haven’t) and proceeded to destroy the first one I did by separating the battery terminals from the circuit card when I tried to unplug the battery. So on to number 2. Decided to leave the battery plugged in. My education on the first one served me well. Got it apart, back together and calibrated just fine. Now sons are happy they can crouch playing Zelda. Just be carful removing and reconnecting the ribbon cables and it’s pretty easy. Patients and maybe watch the whole video and you should have success. It’s only been one day, but working fine. Value is incredible. —— UPDATE —— Still working great with 6 and 10 year old constantly playing the switch. I see the kit now comes with extra screws and tools to help unplug/plug in the ribbon cables. AND a $5 price drop. Can’t be beat. Next amazon order I’m throwing an extra one in my cart.

This product works very well in replacing the joysticks in the joy cons, unlike that it comes with 2 screw drivers all components fit very well. I recommend this product

I honestly was afraid this wont fix the Joy Cons and i would still have to buy new one.... yay, they work just like new again.

After a 6 year old decided to throw my joy cons I was worried I would have to replace the while joycon. Instead I found this and tried it. And now my controller no longer makes my character run it circles. It was easy to install, and worked great

The tools that came with the kit were inexpensive, but served their purpose well. After watching a video on how to perform the joystick replacement on youtube, using the provided tools I was able to replace the joystick in my left joy con, which was drifting to the left. I then had an issue, that I posted in this review, but the company contacted me with a recommendation which completely resolved my issue. I would add more stars if I could!

My 6yo’s switch joysticks were sticking, so I ordered this kit. My 17yo was able to fix his little brother’s controllers in less than an hour. He didn’t even look up the how-to videos on YT. He said it was fiddly, but self-explanatory. The Switch is functional again and we saved 60 bucks!
