Modern looking touch control buttons. Three different light colors and five brightness settings.

This light is small and modern looking. There are no physical buttons on the unit but there are four button 'areas' that you can touch. (Power, light color, brightness up and brightness down) The light is adjustable at the base and at the light. The adjustment at the base will move forward but will not move back from the upright position. The adjustment on the light itself moves a full 180 degrees. You can collapse the light down or have it point straight ahead. There are three different colors of light to choose from. One is only slightly yellow and almost a pure white light and the other two have more yellow in them. I prefer the closest one to pure white light myself. (I don't see myself changing that mode often) The brightness up and down buttons are pretty handy. You get to choose from five brightness settings. I prefer the brightest setting in the day but at night that seems a little too bright. This lamp replaces a chrome halogen lamp that only had on or off. I really do like the touch-sensitive controls. The unit is also more attractive than my old lamp. It is powered by USB and did come with a power adapter. The USB cable is not standard, it has a DC volt jack that plugs into the back of the lamp. I see why they designed it that way. It is probably more durable than micro USB or USB C and anything larger than that would not work. (the base is too thin) Overall, I'm pretty happy with the lamp. I consider it an upgrade from my old halogen lamp which actually got quite hot at times.

Highly useful as a small desk lamp

I just love this product. It is so amazing useful for me. I wanted a lamp that wasn't large to use to put over sheet music while practicing guitar, and this is perfect. It's also great for reading. Here's a rundown of pros and cons. Pros 1. Small and lightweight and doesn't have a big footprint on the desk. 2. Several brightness levels. The brightest at 5000 lumens is indoor daylight bright at close range. 3. Three color temperatures: yellow, blue, white. The yellow and white are very good, the blue is okay. 4. Articulated stand and light unit. Bend and fold as you wish (but see also 'cons'). 5. Folds completely flat for storage. 6. LED bulbs, which have long life and low power demands (this draws around 5 watts at full brightness). 7. Has a detachable power supply (but see also 'cons'). Cons 1. The light can only be raised to about 15 inches off the table. Higher (24 inches) would have been better. 2. Articulation is in 2 dimensions, not 3 (you can't rotate the lights). 3. The detachable power supply consists of two pieces, which means more stuff to keep track of, and the cord is nonstandard at the lamp end so not easily replaced. Since the cord is USB-A at one end, you might conceivably power this from any compatible USB charger. You might be tempted to power it directly from a laptop, but you shouldn't do that as 1 amp is too much current for most USB-A ports and you might cause damage to the laptop. Overall, a really good lamp, one that I am now using all the time. Five stars.

Good bed desk light / night lamp

I got it for my bedroom. It's overall good for the purposes of using as a night bed light. It's not the brightest out there. It's good and overall I'm satisfied. I have another one from a different brand where the buttons are vertical on the pole, I prefer that design more than the buttons being on the base of the lamp because it's better to rest a phone and also with this I have to guess where the buttons are. But it suits the purpose of using as a night lamp and it's at a really good price. So I'm satisfied.
