Absolutely perfect! Exactly what I needed to organize all my thread! I'm getting ready to hang them on my pegboard! New brothread never disappoints! The racks are really high quality and really sturdy! Love them!!! ETA. Now that they're up I love them even more!! I really hope they come up with a cotton thread next so I can replace the one I have !!!

Keeps threads sorted and visible.
These are perfect for my thread. I don’t use large spoils but have several different weights of cotton thread. I can keep the weights sorted and easy to see. I was worried that they would be wobbly but they are very stable!

Great product, great value
I'm really happy with this set. The price was great. They came with large triangle hanging hooks already attached so I was able to hang them on the wall with push pin thumb tacks. I am going to order a 2nd set so I can have corresponding bobbins below each spool. The sets also came with extra dowels if any broke during shipping or future breaks.

Great quality and sturdy
Great quality and sturdy. Holds all of my 500m spools of embroidery thread just fine. Love that I can hang them on the wall or take down and set on my sewing table. They have nice metal loops for hanging and legs that fold out to stand on your table. I have also purchased the embroidery thread spools from this company and am very very happy with the quality. I will continue to order my supplies from New Brothread as they have great products and the best prices!

Never disappoint!
I liked this so much that I bought 2 more and soon I'll be buying a third one to complete my wall (the right top one in the pic is from another seller and I don't like it)! They fit my spools perfectly and they come ready to install on the wall or can be put on top of a desk too. Money well spent!

Stand or hang
Nice wood product! Stands on its own or hang. Bought two, for embroidery thread and sewing thread. Great for viewing what colors you have, instead of pulling out a lot of drawers.

Better than making one yourself
Isn't it amazing how people shop for the absolute cheapest version of whatever they need and then complain that real human beings didn't spend hundreds of hours painstakingly crafting each individual one? You've been searching for a cheap thread holder and now you've found it. It's exactly as you should now imagine it to be. It works. It's made of wood. It's held firmly together and it holds spools of thread. It even hangs on the wall! I refer to it as singular because even though it ships as two separate racks, it's very easy to add a couple of picture-hanging hooks to the bottom-rear of the feet of one of them to link them together into one big rack. What's that? You don't know how to nail a hook into a piece of wood? The manufacturer should have included it already done? Don't we all sew? Aren't we makers? What happened to that maker spirit? Yes, this piece is not completely finished by most people's standards. You could use it as is, but there's a good chance you'll want to finish the piece. That will involve sanding, staining and/or sealing. I decided to take the sanding & sealing route, mostly because I was out of wood stain. I sanded the entirety of both racks with a 150 grit sandpaper. You may need to resort to 100 grit if you have some significant rough patches. There should be no need to use a finer (higher) grit sandpaper. Given all the tight spaces, I see no other way to do this than manually. The only other option is to find a way to unseat all those pegs without breaking them. I couldn't think of a way. Once both pieces were fully sanded, I applied a single coat of oil-based polyurethane with a 1" paintbrush. If you aren't familiar with PU or working with hazardous inhalants in general, you should probably stick with just a stain. PU is powerful stuff and takes a long time to dry, so a well-ventilated workspace is essential. It wouldn't be crazy to wear a respirator or gas mask while applying this stuff! And you can't just leave it outside because the wind will blow dirt and grass all over it. So you have to be creative about how to devise a well-ventilated, yet protected, space to apply the PU and allow it to dry. If you happen to have a sunroom in your house, you're all set. Also, it can be reasonably argued that a PU coating on something like this is overkill. At this point, I can mount this rack in a tree in my backyard and it'll be fine for years. But my point is: Make it your own. The bones are solid, just finish it the way you like. And if that isn't good enough for you, then there is another listing that is fully complete at 3x the price. Have at it.

Exceptionally well made
I'm a woodworker, and I planned to make these myself for my mom for Christmas. Time didn't allow that, so I ordered these based on other reviews - and I'm very, very happy. These appear to me a close grained hardwood, likely oak, and are very well made. At this price, these are nice enough to buy and resell at craft shows, certainly nice enough to give as gifts, and I expect these will last for a very long time. A very well made product.
