These fit nicely on a H.D. Road King. If you bike has heated grips you can drive in 30 deg F weather with only a thin pair of leather gloves. Update: They kept our hands toasty with the heaters on Level 2 and just wearing a thin pair of leather gloves (for grip) while riding in temps down in the low 30's, high 20's. I would definitely recommend these... the photo in the ad is pretty indicative of how they fit on handlebars. They're really designed for ATV's that have no turn signal lamps on the handlebars. Without modification, they do cover the handlebar mounted turn signals on a Sportster, but not on a Roadking. The draw string that seals the mittens around the handlebar could have a more positive grip to stay closed... we wound up double tying it around bar and that works great. The thing we like most aside from how warm they are (the lining feels great)... is that the cuffs are fairly rigid and don't collapse when you take you hands out (like the photo) which makes it super easy to pull you hands out and put 'em back in again. That's really important at a stop light, but even more important when flying down the road at highway speeds... you just can't afford to be fooling around trying to thread your hands and a coat sleeve back into mittens that are limp and flop down closed when you take you hands out... I hope this help... be safe !!

Pros: Easy to install warm waterproof/resistant windproof/resistant access panel for my winch Cons: Can interfere with controls (i.e. throttle, brake, lights, etc) if not careful. Throttle interference can be alarming, you have to be careful Window for Cellphone kind of a gimmick, as most phones wouldn't fit in there, however, it could be useful for other smaller items (needed paperwork?) Overall I am pleased and can plow for hours without gloves and my hands stay warm. This was what I purchased them for and they do the trick. You just have to be careful. I would imagine all similar products would also be susceptible to interfering with the controls.

I honestly didn’t know what to expect with these and I was looking at options dramatically more expensive than these. Went for a ride at 34F degrees and was up to 80 mph. I would turn on the heater grips to get moving and then within a few minutes have to turn the grips off as my hands were getting too warm. Highly effective and I’m still using my summer gloves. I do have to turn the grips back on if I take my hand out of the muff. No fault of the design. I have not tried in the rain but have high hopes. Would buy again

The interwebs suggested that even though these are pitched toward ATVs, they would work for my V-Strom. Turns out they're pretty much perfect for it! I will have to stuff something down into the ends as I do get a little bit of airflow even when cinched all the way, but combined with my heated grips my hands were very comfortable on a 2-hour ride in temps from 35-45deg F. I'll also look for some thinner armored gloves to wear while using them--my regular 3-season gloves make getting in & out a little harder. I did have to remove the OEM brush guards, but these have hard front faces that protect from flying debris. Overall I'm VERY happy with these, and I recommend them for ADV bikes. Who wants to put the fun machine away for the winter!?

I ride all year round... I have a 2010 ultra limited... with 12” yaffee’s so my hands are above the fairing.. I have heated gloves ... but most of the time the wind would blow right through those... I have seen these items throughout Asia and finally found them stateside that would fit. Let me say this... the hard plastic blocks the wind and keeps my hands warmer..since I have installed them I have ridden in weather down to 15 degrees Fahrenheit and my hands were great for the ride... I would highly recommend these.. make sure you feel where all your controls are prior to taking off, as it’s a little unique ... but well worth it..

So, I purchased this because my hands were absolutely freezing on my ride to work at 6am. As soon as this came in I went out to my Kawasaki z300 and tried to fit it on and it didnt fit.... I had to cut the part that slides into the mirror. So now i just slide past the mirror, tuck in and use the velcro. THIS THING WORKS WONDERS. I went from freezing my hands off during my 1 hour morning commute, to not even feeling the cold on my hands until I was almost to my destination. I wasn't riding 55 either.... I drove up to probably 75-85mph and it did great.... didnt use the phone insert.... inside is very warm fluffy lining

These are really nice! When I bought them I thought I might have to cut them so my mirrors would fit through but to my surprise they came with Velcro openings! My mirrors fit perfectly! I gave them 4 stars for warmth because cold wind does get in but with the Velcro openings what could you expect. With a little duct tape I’ll solve that problem! At least I didn’t have to cut them!! Most of the other ones don’t have openings for mirrors so be careful. All in all super nice!

These things are great for a ride out of the woods at dark. fall hunting season is pretty bearable for the ride in to the stand in the sun, but when the sun goes down it gets chilly quick. These keep the wind off of your already cold hands. They're lined with something like fleece, so pretty soft. I wouldn't say these would take the place of gloves when it's balls cold in the dead of winter, but for a fall ride out of the woods they work great!

Great fit, easy install. Slim profile and keeps hands warm. ‘17 Indian Scout

These just barely fit over my R1200GS hand guards. They do the trick for winter riding and seem really well built. Because my bike has hand guards that I didn’t want to uninstall the controls on the handlebars were squished against the back of the guard. It was difficult and awkward to get my thumb into position to hit the ignition, turn signals, lights, etc.
