But don't forget to lubricate before install with either a very light oil or something like Tri-flo teflon-oil.

I was skeptical purchasing this part from an unknown distributor (will it fail? will it be categorized correctly? would I get it quickly?) Easy to install. Works as good as OEM maybe better😁. Installed almost 2 months now, waiting to see how well it will hold. Have attached photos of the old one and this one after install. Bottom line would recommend this to anyone looking for value for money. Installed on a 2002 Sequoia.

Check your lift gate handle

This was a great fit and functioned well. Make sure you check that your handle is not bent when you install this otherwise the latch will not flip over. Other reviews have stated the cable was the wrong length it is not. The problem is almost certainly that the fitting that pulls the cable on the handle of the tailgate has been bent when the gate would not lift.
