THESE WORK!

I've had two of these for a few months now (I thought I'd give them some time before I wrote a review). 1) They are ridiculously easy to install. 2) They WORK; neither one of them have come down and are stuck solid, holding my soaps, razors, etc. Meanwhile, my other razor holder that I kept (just for comparison) continues to fall down. My husband keeps putting it back up. Why? I think just so I can ask "what the heck was that noise?", only to realize it was the old suction-cupped devil falling down in my shower again. Definitely a great purchase here and highly-recommended. Sidenote: They look nice!

Serves our purpose surprisingly well.

This works surprisingly well. Better than expected. Our shower wall is somewhat porous since our home is from 1940 and the bathroom still has the original tiles. We followed the instructions for installation. It's amazingly rooted to its designated spot. I find it attractive which is also an unexpected bonus. I'm so far very pleased.

Good product. Does the job.

Finally, a soap dish that doesn't fall off. The only thing that seems odd is the dish will tilt side to side, as it doesn't seem to tighten with the suction cup. The cup, itself, probably won't ever fall off the wall, since it's quite tight.

Much better than similar products I have tried in the past.

Have bought similar products in the past and this one is way above and beyond those. Setup is easy and seems extremely secure (as opposed to suction cups that either don’t seal or lose their seal over time. Plus, love tha the tray moves independent from the base so that if the soap sticks to it you aren’t pulling the base away from the wall of the shower.

How to install this product

I have read many reviews where the suction falls off. The instructions are in Chinese translated by a computer. Here is what you do to install. 1. Make sure your sticking to a solid smooth surface.. 2 Place the dish on the suction cup and install the knob with ONLY ONE OR TWO turns.(Clockwise). 3 Remove the protective cover from the suction cup. 4 Press and hold the suction cup on a clean smooth surface. 5 Keep pressing on the suction cup with one hand and turn the knob with the other clockwise, until it refuses to turn any more.. This turning motion pulls the middle of the suction cup towards you and creates a strong vacuum.

Good Product

This is just what I was looking for to store my soap bars in the shower. I have it mounted up high away from shower spray preventing the soap bar from washing away. The open basket allows the soap to dry quickly between uses instead of turning into a messy pool of soap slime. Easy to install. Requires a smooth clean surface for secure hold. Don't expect it to hold if you try to mount it over the grout lines of your tile.

This is for the Soap Dish. We have used it for several days with multiple showers per day, two bars of soap and has been working great on porcelain tile! Strong suction and appears to be good quality although some of the parts are plastic. Time will tell but I'll update this rating should anything change. Make sure to read the instructions and take time to thoroughly clean any surface it will be mounted on. I cleaned our tile (which is about 15 years old) with a tile cleaning product, let thoroughly dry, then wiped that surface with rubbing alcohol and let dry for 15 minutes. Once attached, the instructions indicate tightening very tight and letting it stay without any load for at least 2 hours, then tighten again. I also check the knob every once in a while after several showers and tighten just to make sure of a good seal. I recommend this product.

Easy to install and solid to use.

This is just great! I haven’t any built-ins in my bathroom so I have had to put in adjunct shelves, towel racks, holders, etc. This one is perfect for in my bath/shower. It is just the right size to hold several medium bars of soap or one large one. The suction is really strong and it is easy to attach. It comes with written instructions and diagrams to show exactly how to put together the pieces but if you look at it for a while you can figure it out. It is nice and sturdy, as I have bumped into it several times while showering and it has stayed put. If you need an extra soap dish/holder, this is perfect.
