Sturdy, Comfy

I'm a big guy and disabled - a wheelchair user with some mobility outside the wheelchair. I needed something that I could bring with me into the garden so that I could sit while I worked. This was perfect for me. I can position it and then work in a small area all around me then reposition it easily because it's lightweight. It holds me well, whether I sit regularly or on my knees. This was exactly what I needed.

Impressive

I bought this to do weed eating in a new home flower bed. I am not a smaller woman and have MS so I need help getting up. I absolutely adore this seat! It is comfortable, lightweight and perfect to drag around our property and work. I also use it to sit at while husband in his shop. Absolutely one of the best purchases I have ever made!

Definitely The Best Gardem Kneeling/Bench Available

This Ohuhu garden kneeling bench always seemed to be "unavailable" any where on the internet. Then, suddenly Amazon had in stock, so I immediately purchased it for my wife, who will be turning 70 this year. I, and especially she, is very pleased with it. When compared to other similar garden kneeling benches, this one is so much better quality. It is very sturdy, in both the kneeling and bench positions. As others have mentioned, the kneeling pads are little firmer than the inexpensive garden kneeling pads one can purchase at their local stores, however, this does not seem to present a problem for my wife. She absoluetly loves the assistance the handles/legs provide in getting up. We did look at a number of other name brand garden kneeling benches, however, they did not have the quality construction of the Ohuhu. This should be your primary concern when purchasing one of these, because they are all designed the same, and function the same. So what is really important, is the quality of the build, and this Ohuhu is definitely the best of all those we looked at.

Very useful!

I have problems with my knees so kneeling and getting up and down from the ground can be difficult. As a result, my husband has ended up with most of the yard work. This chair has changed most of that. I can use the legs as support rails for getting up from kneeling. From the sitting position I am able to bend down and pull weeds, or prune plants. The side bags are very useful and I can now keep all of my tools and gloves in one place so going out to garden is quick. A benefit I didn't expect was that since using it is I am more active now and I have built up more strength and mobility, and it is now easier for me to get up and down on my own without the chair. I will still use the chair, but good to know I can now do it if needed. The real test is my husband, who had doubts about the chair, ended up using it to plant seedlings in a flowerbed. Even if you don't have mobility issues, it just makes gardening so much easier.

Be careful with the plastic grid beneath the kneeling pad.

This is the second kneeler we bought. The first one is in our garage broken. Beneath the foam pads is a plastic grid that supports the pad when you kneel. The plastic grid broke on the first unit. The frame is still strong and my intentions are to replace it with a wooden board. In the meantime, my wife saw this one, so I bought it for her. I hope it lasts longer than the first one. Eventually, I'll have 2, one with wood. (Maybe 2 with wood instead of plastic.)

Great stool!!

My dad is a little unsteady and finds it hard to get up from a kneeling position when gardening. This is very sturdy and he loves it!

GREAT PROTECTION FOR KNEES & BACK!!!

Excellent product! Love the garden kneeler and we have already used it in the garden, garage, patio, etc. Most definitely saves my husband's and my back, knees, etc!!! I emailed the seller requesting a longer warranty (as mentioned in the paperwork that accompanied the kneeler) and they responded promptly and agreed to my request. I feel like we got an excellent product that hopefully will last us for several years.

WIDE & STURDY

Love how sturdy it is.. It is wider than the usual one. Can definately hold the weight it says. A neighbor came by and saw it. She loved it so much that she went home and ordered one.

Great for all uses

I'm getting up in age and getting up from a kneeling position is hard for me. With this kneeler, I can get up real easy, and if I want to sit down for doing work that can't be done kneeling (or just resting in between kneeling), this works great! I've used it for painting base board, caulking seam around base boards, digging in the ground to run water pipes, painting border around our pool, and putting on lower cabinet knobs and pulls. I also bought one for my son and he uses it all the time.

Great kneeling pad

I used it for installing concrete pavers saving my knees and feet. I used pipe foam insulation on the feet and handle bars and wrapped it with Gorilla black duct tape so it wouldn't be scratched as I moved it across the pavers' surface. It performed nicely and is lightweight making it easy to move around.
