Fun To Use, Don't Get If You Have Big Dogs!

We are very glad we purchased this trash can. It has a very durable container and lid is quite solid once the D batteries are installed. The can is quite responsive to when you hold something out to throw it away (opens within 1 second in most cases). It does sometimes open wen you walk close to it but it is quiet enough that you don't notice and closes itself very quickly. It also does have options to force it open or closed without using the motor to keep it in one position or another; it self sense when it is at its extremes and stops the motor to not burn it out. I haven't had this long enough to comment on the battery life yet but up until this point i am quite satisfied. Would recommend this to anyone who doesn't have big dogs (they could stand in front of it and it would open itself).

I did not realize how nice it is to have a motion sensored trash can until i bought this! (I ended up buying 2!) The way it stands wider than taller works much better to fit the 13 gallon trash bags, and taking trash out is much easier. No pedals to worry about, and it keeps ordor inside. Definitely will purchase agian.

Great Product

Batteries have lasted 7 months....so far! We use it at least 50 times every day. Good size too.

Good quality and price- would recommend

Garbage cans are so expensive! I was concerned about the quality of this product due to the price but was pleasantly surprised. It seems sturdy and well-made, the sensor works well, I like the shape (my old round garbage can seemed to hold onto garbage bags for dear life), and I like the manual option as well as an off switch (due to little kids finding the sensor fascinating). I would buy it again.

When I ordered the waste basket I thought the touch free open was a bit frivolous, but after two weeks I have changed my mind. I love being able to open it with a hand full of trash. The design is excellent and it hold the trash bag in place. And it a very nice design, i find it attractive - even. I did not rate the battery life as I have no idea how long they will last.

One of life's greatest troubles is having to touch the lid of a bin. Missed opportunities aside, this is a well made product which shines as brightly as my soul (very gleaming metal, love me a bit of gleam) and does what it advertises while looking good doing it. I would recommend the 13-Gallon Touch Free Trash Can Bedroom Outdoor to anyone, and even more so if you were to pay me for it.

Automatic garbage can with the right amount of sensitivity

I like that this garbage can responds quickly to motion right in front of the sensor, stays open for a generous (don't feel like I have to rush but isn't going to stay open too long either) amount of time, and isn't so sensitive that it opens every time I walk within a couple feet of it every time. It's the perfect size for most common kitchen garbage bags too.

Great especially for the price

Love the trash can especially for the price! When it came I thought it was going to be too small but it’s a little taller than my old trash can. Very happy with this purchase

the can is just super. it is easy to load the trash bag and the no hands operation keeps everything neat, clean and so easy to dispose of trash. the tight lid keeps all the odors inside the can. if you need to leave the lid open longer, for like shucking corn etc, all you need to do is turn off the power switch in the back of the lid. and all this for $45 is amazing. i love it and just got another one for my daughter who was amazed when she saw the one i bought. delivery is very fast and there are no shipping costs
