I don’t always write reviews like this but I am so impressed with this product. I live in an apartment and have a standard Wi-Fi from the cable company about 100 feet away we had a blind spot and couldn’t surveillance the rear parking lot without expensive wiring and recording unit. I Purchased this because it look like it might solve the problem it charges itself with the sun and uses wi-Fi to transmit. It has fantastic resolution and the response To movement is unsurpassed. Great product

easy to install, solar powered

this is something i was waiting for for a very long time. I came across this product and was very happy to see it. You do not have to run wires, It is solar powered IP camera. It is waterproof with rechargable batteries. Above all, very easy to install. It took me few minutes and I was able to connect it with my iphone. The quality of the picture is amazing. It is HD quality. The wifi connectivity is strong. and my son love it. I highly recommend this product. It has all the hooks you need to get it connected, and hooked. Update: I finished installation outdoor, and it does look good. The night vision is really nice. Before, i had it in my home, on a table, and now it is outside at my driveway. Good bang for the buck.

Good Camera!

Bought this camera to replace the one I have now that only shows live feed. This one by does it all. It records when it detects motion. Sends you alerts to your phone. From the app you can bring up the live feed and take pictures and record live video. It has amazing video and it is crystal clear. The night vison is super clear. It’s weather proof. It is wireless which means it works via your home WiFi. I like this because it also looks modern. I’ll be using this to watch my cats with the motion detector as well when we are away! I also like that I can connect from multiple phones and will probable use my iPad for connection, as well. Super good camera!!

great solar camera

I will say that this is a very easy camera to set-up. I think it is a great camera. Both video and pictures are amazing for such a low cost camera. However the camera is very sensitive to motion. I had it set to the low setting and on a very windy day the movement that came from the hanging planters. This morning it picked-up one of the squirrels running around in the yard. Since this with the body detection in on the low setting I may have to turn that off since it is a high traffic area. I usually hear people complaining about the camera not working well with the motion detector (you will not have that problem with this camera.

Excellent weather proof wireless solar charged securing cam

Living in a rural Wooded area, reliability of electrical service is poor due to frequent storms with wind that bring trees/limbs down. Normal batteries are a hassle to remember to change and an added expense. The solar charger and little power consumption of this unit seemed like the perfect solution. While I have only had the camera a few days, I am duly impressed by quality construction, solid weatherproofing design, high detail HD picture, simple set up, simple install. I am not sure why the Android App has such a low rating. I found it comparable, if not better, that other security and smart device apps. The App has a simple interface, is not cluttered with unnecessary or seldom used features, allows recording to micro SD card, so monthly cloud service is NOT required (but is available), and the app is intuitive to use. The camera's 130° field of view is good, although has a fish bowl effect at the outer edges could be improved with higher quality lenses. And while 130° field of view is adequate in most situations, most good dash cams these days come with 170° views and not the distortion. I would not pay the $400 list price, but the $80 to $100 range is more than fair. The magnetic mount, while usable inside or for temporary use to watch your kids or pets outside, would not be wise as a permanent mounting option. It can be easily stolen and while quite strong as magnetic mounts go, I found outside conditions can move the camera view. Some basic color options like gray, black, camaflauge, etc would make the camera less obvious in particular applications, and thus helpful. Last, let me mention the solar panel. The panel appeals to be of high quality construction and the supplied 4 meter connecting cord to the camera (plus a USB cable for indoor continuous power situations) is of stout construction and heavier Guage wire/insulation than most flimsy USB cables most manufacturers supply. It is now installed outside with the solar panel deployed. Now we'll see how it does in real life conditions. In initial tests I conducted its ability to accurately detect "bodies" from surrounding movement is excellent with no false reports during a six hour span when set to the medium sensitivity setting. Impressive and valuable. My reason for the 4 stars on night vision is that its detection range is very short by today's standards. No doubt due to only 3 infrared light sources. Night vision range is in definite need of improvement and would make this little beauty a gem! One last note: I wish manufactures would get FAR, FAR away from using cast aluminum for any part of the support base construction. Cast aluminum is far to brittle and easily broken. Yes, this camera base ball adjustment and the solar panel both have the cast aluminum. Be very careful tightening and adjusting either one, and more so in cold weather.

Great security camera

the battery and solar panel combination really allows me to put this camera anywhere in my backyard without the need to find a power source. The camera provides clear photos and videos and has a pretty sensitive motion sensing capabilities allows me to keep an eye on my backyard for any possible Intruders while I am not home. The app is easy to use and pair with the camera. I am very happy with this. It has been a week now and the camera still shows 100% battery

Very good product and good service , no complaints

The packaging is exquisite ,A variety of installation methods and I hang the camera on the roof, easy to install since there are no power lines， have solar capability so I don't have to worry about replacing batteries all the time， Battery life has been great，App is easy enough to use. Record and image quality are just as good as my wired systems, you can even switch between HD and SD as needed. I had some problems when I first started using it. I contacted the after-sales service. They quickly solved the problem for me. It was great. Everything works very perfectly

Great camera, most affordable

Setup it is a breeze! When the camera is amazing. Every time someone walk around the camera the phone get alert push and will be able review those clips after 128gb SD card. What funny is if you want you can see and talk to those guys. The cool solar panel keep camera always full changed which is awesome. There’s double-sided adhesive to stick the camera on wall and a hole on the back of magnet ball to hang it with screws! Easy fall which is great. Some says the camera need great WiFi for working but I personally don’t have that problem. In my opinion it works find when the camera is far away from the WiFi . The camera is affordable and with similar features of the certain known brand. Worth the every penny! I would recommend it.
