Unexpected benefit

It did not take long to discover a significant benefit because I have been moving the echo dot from room to room, which requires a complete reboot with each relocation. With the battery, the unit never goes off so it is just a matter of moving the power adapter and plugging it in to keep the battery charged. Very happy with the purchase. Note that the Dot requires WiFi and needs the phone app to change SID's so not really portable when you wander too far from your WiFi.

Does what I wanted it to do!

I wanted to be able to listen to music using my SiriusXM subscription or Amazon Music subscription while in the backyard pool or doing yard work. I bought the Dot 3 first, but soon realized I would need to either use an outdoor power outlet or bite the bullet and get a battery base. So I bought this base and so far I love it! I keep it connected to the Dot 3 all the time and just use the power cord that came with the Dot to power the base. We've been able to play music while playing for hours in the pool or while doing yard work in the front and back yards. As long as it connects to my wifi, it works great!

Great little battery pack

There’s nothing I don’t like about this little guy. We take it outside and listen by the fire pit. Makes being stuck in the shutdown a lot more tolerable. 2020 can bite me but this little guy does the trick. Now I don’t have to run my phone battery down and lug out a separate Bluetooth speaker. It’s basically the size of an echo dot so it makes it like a Big Mac size. Or at least how big a Big Mac should be anyway.

Alexa on the Move!

This works both as a mobile battery so you can move around and as a plugged in base. Battery indicator is right on the front. I am now free to move around and go outside on the deck or wherever else my WiFi can reach. I play my Amazon music and XM radio. Battery life is pretty good as well. Really glad I got this. Very nice upgrade.

Makes Alexa Mobile at home

This has turned out to be more/better than I was even expecting. Originally, I was getting this so my wife could bring it outside, while she’s in the pool, and listen to her Sirius Stations. Then I remembered you can have Alexa devices act like intercoms, so now she can can use it to contact me to ask her for a drink. Then I discovered there’s an app which will controls our hot tub/spa, so now, she just asks Alexa To turn it on/off, adjust the temperature, and turn the jets on/off. I was going to say this thing “rocks,” but it does so much more...

I love this base!

I have echo dots all over the house and I like to use this one when I go into the basement to do laundry or out on the patio. It's great because it's not just a basic bluetooth speaker, it gives you all of the functionality of Alexa wherever you are around the house. Battery life is great and of course the sound is too since the base doesn't compromise the output. A++ GGMM!

Portable Echo Dot...What's not to love?!

Game changer! We have 2 Echo Dots but only have Amazon Music Unlimited on a single device. We really enjoy it, but not enough to pay for the family plan. This fixes that problem... We're easily able to move the "preferred" Dot around the house, without disruption or constant reboots. I can easily bring it into the garage and other places where outlets aren't easily accessible. While I think it's a bit pricey, I'm overall extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Perfect Alexa Add on

Now that I have a completed patio I wanted an alexa to be outside to play music and control the outdoor fan and lights, and this attachment is perfect. It usually resides in our kitchen area, but can come out when we go out. Battery life is good, size and shape are great. Overall very happy.

Works great

So happy with this purchase. Battery life has been great. Sound is better than some of the portable blue tooth speakers I’ve gotten.

On the go

I haven’t used it longer than 2-3 hours playing music but this is great. It was annoying trying to find a convenient place to keep the echo dot but with this base I can easily move it and not worry about losing power and waiting for it to connect again.
