I love the Sentro! Actually after having this for 2 weeks I bought a 48 too! You can make a whole host of things on these if you have patience. Like everything you can't immediately go from the box and expect to knit a hat if you've never used a knitting machine. Take your time. Dropped stitches are usually because you need more tension and/or weights. You can buy claw weights here on amazon and that will help. If you don't want to use more money? You can even use clothes pins and that will help you a lot. These machines do best with size 2-4 yarn. Caron Simply Soft, Lion Brand, Red Heart Soft, Mainstays size 4 yarn and the likes are excellent in these machines. I've had no problem using cotton yarns from Walmart either.

This machine is great. So far I’ve tried 5-weight, which starts to make the crank turn harder, so I stopped before it had a chance to strip the gears. I’m using 4-weight Studio Classic by Nicole right now from A.C. Moore and it’s working up beautifully with no issues or dropped stitches. Jamit, the seller, also provides excellent customer service which is so important with these machines, especially for new knitters. I had an issue with a smaller machine I bought from them and they were quick to respond with helpful tips and had me back up and knitting in no time. If you need a circular knitting machine and aren’t ready to spring for the price of an Addi, the Sentro is great and purchasing it from Jamit is the only way to go!

This knitting machine is very interesting. At the beginning, I failed to set thread. Later, I carefully read the instructions and follow the steps in the manual, i find out that is really easy. I have already woven a neck warmer for my baby. When she grows up, she can DIY herself to weave things. It’s great. LOL

I tried a different brand before and had bad luck so I thought I'd try again with this one since it seemed to get good reviews online. It arrived in perfect condition and was super easy to set up. The same day I got it, I knit a headband and the next day an 8 ft scarf (used an entire Mandala cake) in about 45 min maybe less while watching TV. I've been recommending this to people on Instagram, Facebook and other social media.

I was a little hesitant when the box said "More than a toy!" The product works smoothly and does what I want it to. I especially love the suction that you can put on the legs to prevent it from moving. I would buy this again as it's affordable and very easy to use.

Good product, easy to use and convenient to take. I can use it at home so easily

This product was exactly what I had expected. I use it to make children's hats for charity. I find it easy to use. There are many videos on YouTube that are helpful to learn how to machine knit and show many other items to knit. I love!

winter is coming, has been looking for a knitting machine to make a set of gloves and hat for hubby. this one comes out after pretty extensive research. seller also emailed videos to me that really help me get started. It is easy to learn and once you know the logic of how this machine works. it is pretty easy to knit different pattern.

This is so cool. Fun for the whole family. Great for the young and the old. This is easy to use. It works great. And you can make so many different things with it . It did take me a few times to get it started. But you get the hang of it quickly. My 15 year old got it faster than I did. This is a great kit to have. The perfect starter kit. It even comes with yarn. So after you receive this kit, you can start right way.

I'm very happy I got this. Having gone through several small off brand versions over the years I wasn't sure what to expect. The seller contacted me after purchase with a document with additional instructions. There are also numerous videos online. Most of the machines are a different brand but the techniques are very similar. Doing a search for "circular knitting machine" will get you a good start. Some basic tips: - Before starting a project make sure the machine turns smoothly in T (tube) and P (panel) mode. - Don't over tighten the screws on the legs. - Always have some tension on the yarn. It will help prevent dropped or missed stitches. - Not all yarns will work the same. Experiment to see how each works and decide what gives you the desired results for your project. - Watch some FAQ and troubleshooting videos if you have never used a machine like this. After searching some videos online I was cranking out ear warmers in about 30 minutes. Hand knitting the exact same pattern was taking me 6-10 hours. I tested several types of yarn I had and happy it works well with most of them. Learning the right tension for each yarn has been the hardest part. So far I've made ear warmers for Christmas and a couple of hats that I would consider baby/toddler size. Depending on your yarn and tension you will get an un-stretched tube just over 5". The amount of stretch can vary greatly based on the yarn you use. If you want to make hats that fit older children or adults I recommend getting the 48 needle machine. When assembling be careful not to over tighten the screws connecting the legs to the machine. Mine has a small gap. The smoother the surface the better the suction cups work. I've been using a TV tray that has slight texturing. I use my feet and a knee to help brace it as the tray wobbles even without the machine. Using it on a glass top table was the best so far. Overall I'm very happy with my Sentro. The price was the biggest selling point for me.
