Well built. Works perfectly.

I have a rather large back yard and my dogs run around freely in it. I didn't want to run wires for lighting so these seemed to be the best option. I purchased the 20 LED light set and the 8 LED light set. I set all the lights to the third option, to use them as a motion sensor. That way I don't have to have the back yard lit up all night. I am using the smaller sets down around the side of the house where it doesn't need a lot of light and I'm using the larger 20 LED sets to light up the main area. I am ready to order a few more of the 20 LED lights since I like them so much. I live in Florida so we don't get a lot of temperature changes so I wont be able to comment on their durability during the winter season.

These things are seriously bright, and reliably so for use as security lights (motion detection). There are three modes you set with a small switch. I have them set to only stay on for 15 seconds per motion detection, so in this mode they don't drain their batteries much. Since this was the application I bought them for, they are great. Very bright, good detection. I have them mounted on the side of my house down the narrow path to our backyard to deter snooping (and give me light when it's time to take the trash out). I'm not sure how long they would last if you set them to stay on all night, your mileage may vary. But as security lights, they are great!

These are great. I did wait to get them on sale with a promo code but they do exactly what I wanted. My grill is currently on a lower level patio that doesn't have any outdoor power source for lighting. I placed this on the side of a deck rail about 12 feet up and it did the job perfectly. It shined great light all across the grill. No fears of bringing in pink chicken anymore. The install was a breeze with just 2 screws, I didn't bother doing the screw on the backside since it wasn't going to get bumped or anything and it is certainly not going anywhere with just 2. It is on a side of my deck that maybe only gets sun 3 hours a day would be my guess. The light works perfect though, I've never had a problem with it not coming on because it isn't charged enough. I have it set to motion sensor for the grill and although when flipping burgers it seems I don't provide enough motion to keep it on all the time it is a better solution than setting it to on. I wish it stayed on a little more with each motion sensor but I wouldn't return it based on that.

Very bright, the low setting with motion bright setting is great for my backyard. I bought these to mount on an old yard light that is no longer in service. I will probably get 2 more of these lights, i just need to figure out where i can put them where the sun will reach.

I purchased 3 different solar outdoor LED lights from Mpow. Mainly because I couldn't find what the difference was between them in any review. The Mpow Bright Solar Power Outdoor LED Light Motion Activated Light for Garden Patio Path Pool Lighting are the least expensive and can be frequently found on sale. The normal dim mode light is bluish, it reminds me of moon light. Guest have told me the same. They are dim most of the time and only go full bright if the motion sensor detects something. A person, animal, the branches of a nearby tree. There is no adjusting anything, the only button on them is a tiny on/off switch that you push with an included pin. It's a pleasant light but your eyes will have to adjust to them if you turn the lights off while inside and look outside. The Mpow Bright LED Solar light, Security Lighting Outdoor Motion Sensor Lighting for Garden, Patio, Fencing, and Pathway is a little more expensive but worth it if you want a whiter light. This light has a selector switch in the back, that lets you set it to Bright mode (light stays on full brightness until the batteries drain or the sun comes up), dim mode (light stays dim until the sensor detects something), sensor mode (light stays off until the sensor detects something). The solar panel on this unit is of better quality, the 8 LED's are very bright white light. The Mpow Bright Solar light, Solar Powered Outdoor Motion Active 20 LED Lights for Garden Patio Fencing Path Lighting are about twice as large as the other two, but also have 20 very bright LED's on them. They offer the same selector switch as the previous model. I use them as spot lights on the side of the house and on a shed. The wife kept leaving the backyard lights on all day, they were LED's so the waste wasn't great but I wanted something I didn't have to think about. I read up on these lights and order one of the less expensive ones. I turned it on and let it charge for a few hrs once i received it, then secured it to the edge of the roof. A single light is not very bright, I ended up purchasing five more of these. I installed them about six feet apart and that did the trick. When the lights are on inside the house, you can't really tell these lights are on in the backyard, they are very faint. Once I turn the lights off inside and my eyes adjust, my backyard looks like it would during a full moon. Until something moves. Then the lights become bright but not extreme. I used two of the 20 LED lights, one in front of a shed to replace a spot light, the other on the side of the house. The light from these is brighter in general and white. The two more expensive units, would be ideal if you want to see everything in your backyard at all times. I'll update this in the future with some pictures of each light while dim and full brightness. I haven't had any issues with any of the lights so far. It's been about three months since I installed them. I have had the dimmer smaller lights not work one night when it was overcast most of the day. But as soon as they got sun the following day, they went back to normal. According to the estimated recharge cycles on the batteries in these units, they should last about 5 years.

Easy to install. Just flip the switch to 3 and screw it to the wall. Some complained that the switch was on the back and you have to remove it from the wall to change from motion sensor mode to auto on mode at darkness. I would say if you are using it for security, you don't and some prowler to easily reach up and turn the thing off. If you want, they are light weight enough to attach to the wall with Velcro. That way you can easily take it down. The light is plenty bright enough to light a pathway so you don't trip on kids toys or a garden hose. Not enough to work on a car in the driveway by though. Try to keep it a good distance (10 feet maybe) from a tree or shrub that may blow in the wind or it will turn on with every breeze. I will probably buy more for the other side of my house.

These are awesome lights! I put them in a line on my pole barn and they light up the walkway as I walk around my barn with a bright light and turn off automatically when I pass. These are everything they say they are!

I think these things are fantastic! I have bought 6 of them now & installed them all over the place. We have had a recent rash of car breakins locally & I decided to make all my dark corners not so dark any more. I am genuinely taken aback at how bright these are for solar lights. They are REALLY good. I surprised some neighbors out walking their dogs when I first put them in as they couldn't believe how much they lit up the street. I have recommended these to many, many people inn my neighborhood and will be buying more for my family in the near future I have never been compensated for a review - good or bad, and never received any products for free, except for one unsolicited (and unwanted) item that I contacted the vendor for an RMA - they told me to donate it, so I did. This means that my reviews are my own genuine feedback & no one has biased them.

I have both models of mpow led lights. The one with 8 LEDs and 20 LEDs, here is how bright the lights are. I have them setup up in second mode.
