As you might guess by the title, I own a Lifetime Tamarack Angler 100. I was looking for a replacement seat that was better ventilated, had a sturdy backrest, and would elevate me about 4 inches. This stadium seat looked like it would work, so I ordered it, but I prepared myself for the inevitable modifications I would need to do to get it to fit. I just got it, and it fits PERFECTLY. It sits flat on the existing seat with no mods. All I had to do was salvage the strap off of the old backrest to secure the seat along the front using the existing buckles. Attached this way, you can still easily fold the seat down! If you have this kayak, buy this seat, it's a no brainier!!

We rally did our due diligence on this purchase. We went to numerous sports stores and spent a number of hours on the internet. We settled on this CMT seat as it was wider on the seat and taller on the back than most of of the rest. But... that still didn't sell us. We called the CMT main office and talked to them. We asked them lots of questions. The lady at CMT was so helpfull and courteous. She never tried to sell us or push us. That sold us. We have used the chairs numerous times, sometimes 3-4 hours without getting up. Never a sore or tired behind. We are near 70 years old and my wife has arthritis in her knees and legs. She loves her's. Says the chair is very comfortable. Only one criticism. Because this chair is built to last with steel and canvas, it is heavier than most chairs to carry. However, I would highly recommend this chair. I am 6 foot 4 tall and I love it. Bob P yorba Linda, CA

I bought a stadium seat through a local shop several years ago for baseball games. My husband and I argue over who gets it and often have to take turns so this year, I invested and bought a second one. It may seem like a lot of $ to spend, but it is SOO worth the investment! We're at the ball diamond May-September and these are a life saver. This is very heavy duty as well. My husband is 6'2" 250 lbs and this fits him well. It's sturdy enough to handle his larger size. It also has a hook in the front that slides onto the bench so that the seat doesn't tip over backward.

Like a tank this one is! Very solid construction and fit. Only small drawback is that because of the pumped up construction, it has a bit more carrying weight. If you have a long walk from the parking lot to the stadium, I would recommend finding a shoulder strap. GAME ON!

Purchased this as a seat upgrade for my Field & Stream Eagle Talon 12 fishing kayak. And, am I glad I did. Great quality & craftsmanship. Plus, the kayak still kept its center of gravity for stability. It got me up from sitting directly on the floor with the factory seat and gave me some clearance between the seat & the scupper wholes of the Kayak. Back support is fantastic as well. Spent three hours on the water my first time out with this seat & had no issues with lack of back support. Highly recommend as a stadium seat or as an upgraded kayak seat (hook for bleachers recesses back up into frame that it is not an issue for kayaks). Also, back of seat can be removed for logo embroidery. This seat is also made in XL size/20" seat. I almost bought the 20" size but glad I didn't. Would not have fit in this particular kayak, not enough clearance on the sided. Great seat though!

These seats are VERY well made. My husband and I are "plus sized" people, and we fit in them well and were comfortable through the whole football game. They look like they will last a very long time. They were just a little heavy to carry, but not bad. I'd rather carry a little heavier chair and know it's well made than a flimsy one that may not last.

Folks I've been through stadium seats and this Cascade Mountain Tech's seat is THE best I've bought/used. The construction is stronger than any I've had before, yet it isn't heavy to carry. This back and seat is comfy but STURDY. I"ve had seats you were afraid to lean back on. I"m a big guy, and I've bent other seats, but this one holds me!! . Best part is that (unlike Stadium Co seats), this seat STANDS UP BY ITSELF when it is folded and you put need to put it down on the ground. (Trust me, the other ones tip over on the wet ground). See that little hook that wraps around the front of the stadium bench? It keeps your seat from slipping/sliding, yet it folds away better than the other two seats I've owned. Everybody asks me at college games about my seat! This is the one to buy!!

In addition to this seat, I have also purchased another brand that looks and feels identical to this one. Other than the color, I can't tell any difference in them. These seats are a little heavy (if you are carrying it very far, or if like me you are purchasing it for a gift for an older person) but the steel in the frame also makes them stronger. The fabric that is stretched across the frame is supported above (not much but maybe an inch or two) the bleacher so you aren't sitting on a hard board and they are much more comfortable than the type of seat that doesn't have any back support. The kids are involved in sports and this makes time spent in the gymnasium bleachers much more comfortable.

Seats are solid and comfortable and hold my size and weight (6'8" & 330 lbs). The back rest is positioned just right and provides good support for the lower back. The seat is heavy but understandable due to the size and construction. We have only used them several times but I am satisfied. If something changes I will definitely post a follow up review.

I bought three different kinds of stadium seats and this is my favorite. One was just pitiful, the other one is also quite good, but this is the best. Most importantly, it provides excellent back support. It stays put on the bleacher seat thanks to the grippy underside of the rails. It folds easily in half and has a nice, padded handle for carrying it. It even stands up on its own when folded. The rails are the thickest and strongest of the three seats I bought. If we need to buy another one, it will be another one of these.
