Love it Very well made Heavy Sharp

Superior knife, quality far beyond its price.
This thing is a beast. I am no professional chef, but I am a longtime woodsman and Bushcrafter. I have taken this on a couple trips, and it has evolved into my go-to knife. I simply love that it can do very well at the butcher block, but yesterday hold up to the random needs I may have in the bush. Why carry two knives? I obviously joke a bit, as each knife has its place, but this one can do the trick of many. Holds a very sharp edge, and is strong beyond my expectations. Seriously great buy...

Good product, diverse uses
I’ve had this knife for a few weeks, we are very avid cooks. Spent a few months comparing similar items that are twice the cost with similar ratings. It came in very sharp and seems to be holding its edge pretty well; balanced enough for finer item slicing and chopping while being heavy enough to cleave through frozen meats.

Sharp and sturdy!!
Was just as described, just used it for the first time. It is nice a heavy and very sharp. It is not a flashy knife if that what your after but it is well made and should last a lifetime.

Amazing knife. Pro material
Great knife. It’s become my go-to for separating chickens and cutting root vegetables. I’ve only used it a couple times on other things, but I try to keep my knives separated by task so I can rely on them better. It’s nice because the back of the knife is so tall that often, it stays above what I’m cutting, so it stays nice and clean and easy to control. I can’t in good conscience recommend this to inexperienced cooks, because this knife is very heavy and could be hard to hold correctly if you’re not used to many different types of knives. One of my roommates, who cooks sometimes, helped me prepare my trinity and he didn’t like the weight or height of the knife because he “just wasn’t used to it and it felt so far away from the board.” The sheath is very nice. It fits perfectly in the leather sheath and you can fold the clasp away so you don’t accidentally cut it off (if you keep your knives as sharp as I do). The sheath came with that unpleasant leather smell, but it faded quickly. All that said, I love this knife and it is now one of my primary knives for tough root vegetables and butcher work.

This made my dad and I closer
My dad came over for dinner for the first time. I showed him this new knife and he said it was pretty cool, but how's it cut. Well let me tell you, if there's one thing my dad likes, it's a whole chicken broken down into eight pieces. This knife cut through it no problem, and my dad giggled with delight when I playfully tossed the wishbone at him. He said that was nice, but what about the veggies? Well let me tell you again, this baby let me chop up six carrots in about a minute, then I scooped them up right onto the blade and moved them to the pot. Same with the potatoes--this baby made them a dream. Now my dad says he can't get enough of that finger licking good chicken and he asked me what's my secret? Well dad, it's the knife. He comes to my baseball games now.

Great knife!
First off let me say sorry to all the people who didn’t like this knife, I think it’s awesome! Very sharp and I really like how the blade is thick at the top then gets narrow on the blade edge. I used it on a semi-frozen chuck roast and it sliced like butter! But...understand that it’s a high carbon steel not stainless. It’s considerably more brittle than stainless because it’s harder. Don’t drop it and don’t use it to pry things apart! (Like meat frozen together) use it for what it’s intended and you’ll be completely satisfied!

Heavy Duty
Since starting to watch Liziqi on YouTube and appreciating her take on traditional Chinese cooking, I wanted a butcher knife similar to what she uses, this knife met that criteria. When it arrived the first thing I noticed is that it's heavy, it's definitely sharp, and the price was right. The leather holder for it smelled kind of funny so I put it outside for a couple of days and now it's fine. No complaints at all.

An Amazing Knife!
This knife is a heavy cleaver that comes very sharp out of the box and cuts like crazy! The heft of the knife can be a bit tiresome but the handle is very comfortable so the tradeoff is worth it. It cuts through potatoes, carrots, and everything else with ease. The sheath it comes with is mediocre but honestly, I wouldn't want to wear it on my belt because as I said, it is hefty! I absolutely love this knife and thought seriously about getting one for each of my brothers for Christmas but it comes factory direct so darn sharp I'm a little concerned about them hurting themselves! YES, it really comes that sharp! The only negative comment I have is, the blade needs TLC. After each use it must be washed then lightly coated with cooking oil so it will not rust. BUY ONE, you will NOT be disappointed!

Great buy!
I was really surprised at the quality of this knife. I expected something cheaply mass produced to look hand made, but this knife actually is made to last! I would recommend buying this knife! If it doesn’t work out it can always be returned however, I don’t think you will want to return it.
