- Petoskey stones are the fossilization of ancient coral - Hexagonaria. Found on beaches in Michigan, each fossil is unique and completely natural, and comes with a gift bag and information card.
- Each stone has been carefully tumbled for a 30 days with various grits of sand to create a perfectly smooth surface, with no chemical coating or unnatural finish. Wetting a stone with water will reveal a darker fossil pattern.
- Photos are a representation of the wide selection of stones. Each stone measures a minimum of 1.75 to 2 inches wide.
- Please note: each stone is unique and may contain small imperfections as they are found in nature. The individual character of each fossil has been preserved by not removing all imperfections and creating artificially uniform stones.
- Perfect souvenir or gift for a loved one, or great for in-class demonstrations of fossils.
