Worked well.
Novice, but obtained several dif hand planes to restore and the irons needed help. Used with jig to hold iron which was a good move thank you. This water stone did a great job working rough iron (blade) down and finishing the edge.

Sharpens well. I do need to purchase a more course stone for first grind.

Just what I expected
It's very nice. Just what I need. Sorry I can't get all giddy about it.

worth the price
Stone works very good for all sharpening needs . The silicon base keeps it in place while using it so there is no stone "travel" . I would recommend this to anyone that does a lot of fine tool or blade sharpening.

works well
I followed all the instructions and sharpened several kitchen knives. It seems to be a little soft and shows much wear very soon.

stone just as advertised
only drawback, the book shown in the ad didn't come with, I was sent an email link as a substitute, was satisfied with stone so I accepted and didn't pursue further.

"the golden stone"
It has to be used as recommended, first immerse it in water and then use it while continuously watering it. treat it carefully since falling would break easily...I'm just missing the promised book that didn't arrive, I'll wait for the shipment, Thanks so much.
