Awesome gift for a growing kid

If you have a kid at your home who is very inquisitive about everything in this world - a microscope or a telescope would be a perfect gift for them. I opted for a microscope for the birthday gift for my four-year-old as I use microscopes every day at my work. The little plastic TELMU microscope is not super high resolution but it is fancy enough to see some plant tissues and even cells. I would highly recommend that you prepare a few slides of your own as a home project. A section of the corkscrew of your wine bottle is a great example. They have included few pre-made slides so that you can start using the microscope right away. They have common house fly legs, cross-sections of Dicotyledon stems and cotton stems. It is a fun thing to give as a gift to a little one and way better than those useless superhero figures. The smartphone attachment is super useful and you will be able to take some cool pictures. However, I must say that focusing the smartphone camera through the eyepiece was not that easy.

Best for the bucks

This is the first microscope I purchased, and I like it. It has a diffetent desine compared to the one I have seen in school. There are 5 lens comes with it, 3 of them is fixed to the board, the other 2 is removable as you can see in the picture. The light used is blue which is better than traditional white light. Besides, the brigness can be adjusted. There are other tools comes with the box and it makes it more easy and enjoyable to use the miscroscope

Terrific value, need to buy optional lighting and additional eyepieces

This is a terrific value for a travel/portable microscope that I put in a padded backpack with all its accessories and bring to a beach or while camping. I love its features for the money. I bought a tiny $8 flexible gooseneck battery operated light for more optional lighting angles, and I also bought two more 23mm eyepieces (20x, 25x) to increase magnification all for an extra $30. I'm very pleased with this purchase!

Educational toy

I thought It is a toy but it isn’t. It works like a real microscope. I use it to introduce early education biology and science to my 3 years old. It works like a charm. The package included animal leg that looks very hairy and scary when you see it under the microscope. I used my hair and my son’s hair to test it out and let him observe the differences under the microscope. It was fun and educational. The merrit of inverted lense is that you can use your cellphone as the observing scope. Plus the elongated lense will not bump into the base or glass cover. Very clever design.

Perfect educational gift for kids.

Bought this for my 7 year old son as a gift and he totally loves it. It comes with a bunch of glass slides with a unique specimen to examine in each one. The microscope itself is very powerful, it's unbelievable seeing what you normally cant with just the naked eye. This is an awesome set overall, comes with absolutely everything you need for young learners. I highly recommend it.

Scientific quality for Kids

This inverted microscope is good for kids. I was looking for a inverted one as opposed to a standard one because kids seem to like this one more. You can view objects suspended in water or in saline which is cool...

Perfect hobby set

We picked this set because it's inverted, which is supposed to be a good starter microscope, and because the price was good compared to similar sets. We got it for my 3.5 year old because he's trying to understand the concept of germs, so we figured showing him things he can't see with his bare eyes is a good way to start. It's easy enough to operate that he can now do it himself after some practice. It comes with a nice set of slides with things like bits of plants and bugs (housefly leg in the attached pics). It also comes with a tool set to collect specimens; plastic tweezers, metal scoop, little water bottles, a couple small dishes, extra slides with labels, plus the cellphone holder to assist with taking pics. He's really into it so I'm thrilled. It's a nice set and good price, I'm really happy with it.

good learning machine

This microscope was amusing to play around with. It engaged me with obtaining more interest to look at more specimen. This product is also lightweight and isn’t flimsy nor heavy. Overall, this product fascinated me, this was certainly enjoyable.

Very useful microscope for kids。

This is a very good microscope. When I got it. I felt it was very light. When I opened the box, I felt I liked it very much. It looks very clean. And it's white. I immediately went to the backyard and picked up a leaf and looked at its cells. You know what? It is wonderful. I can see the cells very clearly under the microscope. I found another slice of orange peel. I can still see its cells clearly. This is a very good microscope. I bought it for my son's birthday. I hope he can study hard and be a doctor in the future. It is easy to carry because it is light. I think this microscope is very good. But, it is not the best. Because it's made of plastic.
