No Wifi. Still Works!

We purchased this to give us security while living in a rural area. This has it's own wifi system that communicates from the monitor to the cameras. So if you have no wifi, it will still work. If you want to view from your phone, then you would need to plug the monitor into the router. It was very easy to set up. We just plugged in the cameras to power, and it communicated with the monitor. The cameras came up on the monitor. We bought a 4 camera system, but will probably add 4 more cameras. It was an excellent choice!

Great system

After a bit of a learning curve, this security system is a wonderful system. Great picture quality and with the 3TB hard drive, it records continuously for nearly 30 days. We've only had it for a little over a month and have recorded one suspicious person walking around our home while we were at work. I installed one by the garage, drilled a hole through the exterior wall and made sure that an outlet was nearby on the inside. The cameras have a great picture and the night vision is very clear as well. I have not had an issue with bad reception either. Our cameras are all within 30-40 feet of the wifi base unit.

Nice system

one month ago I bought the 8 channel system than came with 4 cameras and a 3 TB monitor DVR. I added 2 additional Hiseeu cameras. Everything has been working well. The pictures are clear for a long distance in daylight and a good distance even at night. I even saved an accident that happened a half block away to a flash drive for one of the vehicle drivers.

Great system & great customer service!

We purchased this product about 4 months ago and set it up for our outdoor business. We were really happy with the results so we purchased additional cameras to add to the system. The image quality on the LCD screen is very clear and the night vision is exceptional. We even purchased a wire to connect the LCD to an additional monitor that we can view in additional rooms in the office. In addition to the monitors we were able to easily download a app to view the cameras on our phones. Another thing to note is the exceptional customer service. Twice we contacted them to ask about extending the reception and they were quick to reply with lots of helpful advise. Definitely recommend this camera system.

Excellent Video System For Home Security

This is my first home video security system. I researched many systems before purchasing it. The features that I insisted upon were good video definition, night vision, significant storage capacity, and wireless connectivity between the cameras and the NVR (network video recorder). A good friend of mine showed me his system which was wireless but the cameras ran on batteries which he had to replace frequently. I knew I did not want a system that ran on batteries; this one requires a physical connection to house wiring for power. It comes with plug-in transformers for each camera and one for the NVR. There is also an antenna with a 10 foot cable for one camera if it is installed in an area that cannot penetrate through too many walls. This antenna allows you to place it in an area that is less obstructed. It works great! I bought the system with the 12 inch monitor which I think is the best combination. It eliminates the need to incorporate a laptop or television to view images from the cameras. (My system came with 4 cameras.) The monitor is a self-contained unit which includes a 3 Terrabyte hard drive and the electronics which run the system. It provides storage for 30 days of high definition video from all 4 cameras. It comes with a two-button mouse which works with the monitor and system just like a desktop or laptop computer system. I purchased 2 Vanxsecctv 10m(30 ft) 2.1x5.5mm CC 12volt Power Extension Cables for CCTV Security Cameras. These let me run power to 2 of my cameras that were not near power supplies. Also, I took advantage of the 8% Hiseeu discount offer just by sending an email to Johnny@hiseeu.com and requesting it. They replied within a few hours with the discount code which I successfully used. I am amazed at the night-vision capability of this system. The specifications say it has a 65 foot limitation but that is not the case. I have one camera aimed straight down our driveway which is about 120 feet long and it "sees" that far in total darkness. The detail is surprising! I bought the 3-year extended warranty (just in case). I can highly recommend this system. Update on June 5, 2020 If I could rate this system with more than 5 stars, I would. I am continuously impressed with the quality of this system. My wife, who is not technically gifted, loves to use the system to keep watch on our outdoor cats. We have observed several night critters meandering around our property that we would not have had any notion of their presence without this system. The company has contacted me by email to ask me how the system is working. If you are unsure of which home security system to buy I don't think you could go wrong with this one!

Great System

This all in one with 12" LCD Monitor Wireless Security Camera System is great. We looked at many other systems and decided on this unit. Out of the box, we were very impressed with the quality and all in one form. After installation we were even more impressed with the ease of setup and the image quality. The cameras are mounted behind glass and we can still see everything we need to. Customer service (Johnny) is very professional and interested in my satisfaction. Thanks again!

Great security cameras for the price.

I have to admit that I was a little skeptical about making this purchase but thought I would give it a try. The set-up was easy and quick. The NVR recognized the cameras right away and was up and running in less than 30 mins. Will have to do some cord management and securing but that should not take too long. The web/cloud set-up was also fairly easy and it is a great feature that you can view the cameras from basically anywhere you have good signal or wifi access on your smart phone. Video is very good and clear during the day and at night with the infrared. Motion detection is ok at best, still get some false positives even with the PIR mode enabled. A couple of cons are that the manual print is really, really small and still a little blurry even with a magnifying glass. I tried to download the PDF version but it was even worse, the entire manual was basically on one sheet. Would be great if they could add a high-res pdf manual on their website that had each individual page. The range of the wifi signal is ok. I have one camera that is about 70 feet from the base and it rarely drops signal (have not tried the antenna extension that comes with the kit yet but may in the near future). Also the power cable for the base and the cat 5 cable to connect to your home wifi router are very short (about 4 feet). Ideally, they need to be at least 6ft but 10ft would be preferable. I had to use an extension power cable and another longer cat 5 cable that I had to connect the system where I wanted to place it in my office. The other con is that one of the adjustments on the camera base can get blocked by the antenna so you have to be careful on how you mount the camera. If the antenna base on the camera was moved to the outer edge of the back or on the side of the camera, the adjustment tool should be able to fit fairly easy. Overall, so far so good and I am very pleased with the system. I would recommend this product and actually rate it as 4.5 stars.

Easy setup, great service

I bought the the set 3 weeks ago and couldn't be more satisfied. The set up was simple with the cameras already matched to the DVR. I got the 3t hard drive and have been running full time so I can't rate the motion detector part. I had no problems hooking to my network and putting the app on my phone. I traveled last weekend and was able to easily see the cameras pictures on my phone. The night vision works well Customer service was excellent, one of the cameras had an issue. I sent them a photo of what I was seeing and a replacement camera arrived in 3 days. At this price the comfort of having peace of mind when I travel comes cheap. The picture I added is of the power supply which is 100-240 volt

Great and affordable system

I took all pieces apart ant it was a true Plug-and-Play. Easy to put together and straight forward on the hardware and the app on the phone as well. Pictures on all cameras are sharp and with vivid colors. One only thing not acceptable was a broken mouse in the box. No issues. I used one extra I had with me. When I contacted Hiseeu i was told to order one from Amazon and that I would be refunded the amount. Not to bother with all of that I left it as it is. Nice way of correcting the issue. I also would have expected a mouse shipped to my house. Not a deal breaker. This only tells me the y are willing to solve any issues for their customers. Only thing about buying this system is that you need to plan on getting electric connection to the cameras. So plan ahead and either get additional extension cords or run power to where you plan on placing the cameras. The 30-feet long electrical cords help a lot. I ran one extension cord for the front of the house but in the garage I had plenty of cord to just plug them in. I only wish the system could be bought with all 8 cameras and that it was offered for 16 cameras. When they get the 16-camera system I will by one immediately. Thanks
