Super easy to use!

These are nice little motion detectors. It comes w/3 motion sensors- we put them near all of the gates to the backyard so we can hear if one of the kids opens a gate. I have a small preschool, so it helps at recess time when I can’t have my eyes on 10 different students at once. So far they work perfectly! Both the plug-in receivers play a time when motion is detected, no matter which gate gets opened, which is great because I can hear it all over and don’t have to worry that I’ll miss something. There are 38 little tones to choose from, great variety of short and longer tones! 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for an easy motion detector set.

Budget friendly motion detector

Our youngest is a wandering child so we needed something to alert us of her going outside. The setup for this device is very easy. It comes with all screws and attachments needed. You will need to insert batteries for the sensor portion. The alert box can be put on sound or lights. Because my husband works from home, we set it to light alert. We have one placed in the living room and office so it’s easy to see if it has been set off while in the main rooms of the house. It is very sensitive so has went off at times when just the wind was moving the swing.

Great for peace of mind

I originally bought this product on its own, but decided to put it with some cameras and the combination has been a great addition to our home. We live on a semi-busy road but don't have many neighbors around us so the first time we know someone is there is when there's a knock at the door and it's often unexpected so I like having these to let me know when someone pulls in the driveway. I have anxiety especially at night, so this has given me a piece of mind that if someone walks around the back or is in the front that I'll know about it. We added some cameras so we can see who is outside when we're in another area of the house, but I love the different tones that these offer so I can know if someone is in the back or front of the house. I like that it came with 3 sensors for ourside so we can have one for the side of the house too and they are small enough that they won't really be seen in a corner. The plug ins are perfect for wherever we need them to go and can be moved easily if we need to plug something else in temporarily. Definitely a great asset to our home security.

Nicely priced, classy motion detector alarm with two monitors, Nice set and recommended!

I am quite pleased with this home security alarm. It comes with motion sensors that when there is a movement or loud noise the alarm notifies us immediately. We were having issues with packages being taken off our porch. While this does not have a camera, it sounds a loud alarm. The alarm can be set to different sounds for notification and is heard inside as well as outside. It comes with dual monitors. We keep one in the living areas and one on the bedroom. We are able to hear very clearly both sensors any time they go off. While this does not have a camera, the noise alerting us has put a end to anyone coming in the porch driveway areas that does not belong. It has gone off on a few occasions after we first put it out, and has put a end to missing packages. A great advantage to this system is thar it has three motion sensors. The sensors are visible and look like it could have a camera as well as alarm. In fact our neighbor has asked if three cameras were enough. So being a cheaper unit it does it’s job as well looks like a camera is recording when the alarm goes off. Installation was easy and the instructions sent clear and precise. It is recommended the sensors be under a over hang, while it is weatherproof, it does say keeping out of direct, hail, or snow is advised. The look of the alarm is well done and does not take away from the outside house decor. Very pleased and so happy with the construction of the unit as well the fact that it works! Would recommend this unit for anyone who needs that extra to deter people but not a camera to record happenings.

I'm using this in my shed

I really like the idea of this item. I placed one sensor in my shed and when the door opens it goes off to alert me if someone breaks in. My shed is at least 50 feet from where the alarm is plugged in. It comes with two alarms for different levels or areas of your house. The sounds are loud but there is a 3 volume levels. The only things I don't like is that all three motion detectors will set off both instead of being able to have 3 channels and know which one is being triggered. If you unplug or the power goes out, they reset to the first chime. I'm going to put one on the mailbox door to alert me when the mail has arrived. The sensors are very sensitive and so using it as a driveway alert might not work because of animals or even the wind blowing branches will set them off.

great stuff

We are a retired couple, recently moving from New York City to the wilds of North Carolina. We have a quarter mile driveway, snaking thru the woods from the main road to our house. The house is a two story and we live upstairs. It was impossible to know when a delivery vehicle arrived. We needed a driveway alarm both for deliveries and security. I look for value and functionality when purchasing. The Bluebits Solar Driveway alarm provided me with both. Additionally this devise delivers convenience of operation. Some details: The sensor, or “sending unit” can be charged prior to installation via the supplied USB charger and cable. It lights blue while charging and the blue light goes off when it has a full charge. This allowed me to prepare the sensor for installation without waiting for the built in solar cell to charge the internal battery. The sensor also has an on / off switch so once charged (about an hour) I turned it off and waited for a not so cold day to do the outside installation. The receiver is an attractive, optionally wall mounted unit. It has volume controls and an on / off switch that is accessible (as are all the controls) from the side of the unit. Generally most will leave the receiver attached to the supplied USB adapter and cable. But, for when I installed it – I put in 4 AA batteries so the wife could tell me when it was activated while I walked down the driveway to pick a mounting location. Being solar recharged it should have some sun hitting the solar panel mounted on the top of the receiver. Having only one sensor and one receiver I did not have the ability to test the multiple connections ability. But, knowing the technical skills behind this company I am confident I can expand the system later. While screws are included to mount the sensor on a tree along the driveway, I choose to simple run some tape around the tree to mount the sensor. I carried the receiver (with 4 AA batteries installed) in my pocket. Thus equipped I was able to determine where to aim the sensor so it would register someone on foot walking the driveway. Subsequent testing with my car and the receiver at the house was done to be sure I was not out of range. Wife helped (via cell phones) to allow use of the maximum range, near the end of our quarter mile driveway. It has all the range I needed, and we both like the dong dong ding musical sound – at the lowest volume when in the house. Sometimes when we are on the porch I either turn up the volume – or take the receiver on to the deck. Forgot to mention that paring the sensor with the receiver is a snap – they mated first time. Overall we are delighted with this Bluebits unit. Highly cost effective and does exactly what we wanted. I was concerned that it did not have an antenna to improve range, but they mention using a special frequency and, whatever it is; it sure works to give this gem great range. Now that the driveway is secured, I will be looking to add additional sensors to secure other approaches to the property. A side use will be to inform us of deer on the property so we can get out the binoculars and have a good look at our new neighbors!

Works wonders!

This products works wonders! We have had a lot of issues with package theft and also people coming into are property. I put one of these motion detector on the side of my house as well as hidden in a bush. I absolutely love it. Any time Someone walks in front of the motion it alarms me inside my house. It comes with 2 chime which you can place through out the house. But the chime is very loud you only really need one. It also acts as a deterrent cause I places it close enough to my front door that you can hear it and makes noise. It’s super simple to set up. Great motion alarm.

Kind of difficult to program at first but worth the trouble after completed

So the product is good and better to get online then from in store for now. It was a bit pricy for the item and installation was kind of tricky to complete. Though once its done it really does its job as intended. The motion detection is very good and i guess thats the real point of this product. Which is the motion detection. Its really small around the size of half my palm. Programming it is going to take a while especially if you have no experiance but I think once completed the end verdict is great. I'm fairly pleased by the motion detection which I tested on low and high motions and all was detected.

Nude at peace

We had to move into my parents-in-law’s basement because of covid 19. No one in the family knows how to knock and just after we get out of the shower seems to be when people love to come down. This little alert helps so much so we know when someone is coming down the stairs. It took thirty seconds to set up and has had no problems.

Simple setup

I got these to use as an alternative doorbell for the back gate of my fence. I wanted something simple to set up with no wires. So far this has been pretty nice so far with an alert chime or even just a flashing light to alert me that someone is at the back gate. I was quite surprised by the long-range that the units were able to achieve. the motion sensor picks up at a decent range too.
