Installed in 1/4” steel aftermarket bumper. Running (over amped) block heater, 2 battery warmers, engine oil pan and transmission oil pan 75W/100W warmers and 2W trickle charger without any issues with temps to -45F. Cover stays completely flexible. Hasn’t gotten much above -30 here for the last month. Seems durable. Hooking up to AC several times daily. I did add an inline LED indicator so that I have redundant power indication in addition to the LED on the power cord. Very convenient. Highly recommend.

A must have for Californians subjected to utility power outages

Rather than leaving a door cracked open to pass cables from my emergency generator to the appliances inside my garage and house during California power outages, I can now keep the outside door closed. It took awhile before I discovered this product on Amazon. I've installed two in the back door of my garage on the door's hinge side to allow the door to be opened without pulling on the extension cords on the interior side, or the two power cords running from the generator to the door. To get the product to fit through a thicker door it was necessary to make a groove on the inside of the 2" cutout using a Dremel tool as the product appears to be made for thinner walls/doors. This is no big deal, and easily accommodated by cutting the groove. Having a backup generator has become a necessity in California, and this product is a must-have if you want to avoid having a door cracked open to allow for extension cables to pass through. This is an elegant solution. The superb packaging follows the example of Apple.

Simple installation, looks factory fresh!

First, this review is my initial impression of the product. I will update my review in 6 months. I have owned two Noco Battery chargers (Gen 1 Mini) 4 amp single 12-volt model. Both work flawlessly. That being said, I decided to order the AC Port Plug with two ac hook-up plugs. I wanted to run my block heater and my Noco off a single timer. This does the trick. The install meant using a 2" hole saw bit with my cordless 20-volt drill. I chose a plastic blank where a fog light might have been installed - worked perfectly. The Noco AC port fits perfectly. It looks professional, allows my hood to remain closed, and makes using it so much nicer. The cords are tucked neatly in the engine compartment away from heat sources. I expect it to work well throughout the winter months in Wisconsin.

Good splitter for 2 onboard chargers

My boat has 6 batteries and two chargers and I did not want to cut 2 holes in my console. I was able to use this product to connect 2 onboard chargers using 1 extension cord. It has worked great for the last couple of months. The first time I used it one of my chargers threw a fault error. I suspected the charge on the batteries was low and by splitting the voltage between 2 chargers this might have been the problem. So I isolated the one suspected low charger and only plugged one charger in overnight. Since then I have had both chargers plugged into the splitter with zero issues. I would buy this again, and I wish they made it in white! PS - come in very nice packaging for a plug.

Well made, easy to install electrical plug!

I purchased 2 of these electrical outlets to use on a cargo trailer that i’m converting to a toy hauler camper. I installed these on the trailer exterior so I could plug in electrical cord when I’m at a campground or using a generator. They were easy to install using a small hole saw and some self-tapping screws. I also used clear silicone on the back of the outlet to assure waterproof. After installing 2 dual-cord plugs I now have 4 electrical outlets inside my trailer which I use for my mini-fridge, TV, and microwave oven. This item appears to be well made and easy to install. I would definitely purchase this item again!

Great Product...

We installed this on our Skoolie ( Nerd Herd Nomads ) his product allowed us one additional way to bring power into our school bus conversion... The only additional thing I did with the installation was I added some clear high-quality roof conking that you would use on an RV. I'm not sure that it needed it it's just that I wanted to be certain. The only reason I gave it four stars and waterproof is because you can't completely submerge the item. But I did give it five stars and water resistant.

Great Product But...

I really like to concept on this Power Plug Inlet. I mounted this on my enclosed utility trailer and the exterior wall is too thin for the self tapping screw to really get a good hold. I just wish it had 4 mounting screws instead of three, the screw hole at the bottom is right behind the power cord and is in the way if you use machine screws & nuts instead of the supplied self tapping screws. I cut a piece of 1/4 poly material and put on the back side of the wall for extra reinforcement & used the self tapping screws. Also wish that they made a unit without the extension cord on the back side instead have lugs to connect your own wiring to. With the cord on the back it's a little too thick to go between the walls of a enclosed utility trailer but I made it work by cutting it off. I used the Power Plug Inlet to supply my own interior outlet and lights inside the trailer. Overall it's a Great product with no complaints the above is just ideas for another type of Power Plug Inlet for more of a custom fit.

Easy to install

The power cord was easy to install however you should finish tightening the screws by hand as the rubber flange can easily distort under the quick compression of a power tool. This is not a knock on the quality of the product but definitely something you should be aware of as it is possible to crush/damage the rubber if you are careless.

A lot hogher quality than the other brand I bought

This a.c. passthrough plug was very high quality. The plastic felt super durable the installation was easy with the given screws and the plugs feel very heavy duty and strong. The hole is wide enough to fit any type of extension cord I couls find heaven the ones with a large heavy duty end to them. I highly recommend this product.

Great product

Perfect for my needs. Super easy to install, and now my RV AC connects right to the campsite power, and doesn't add its load to the RV's small panel. Every now and then, you cone across something that is just spot on, and this was for me.
