This little kit is AMAZING. It has just about every size bit you'd ever need for your small project and think the kitchen sink might even be hidden in here someplace (lol) The case is well designed so that you can see everything easily.

More helpful than I anticipated!

I'm a regular online gamer with friends across the US. One of said friends has been having problems with his Switch Joycons, and while I usually use my Pro Controller, I decided to research how to repair it, should my Joycons act up. I saw this kit on Black Friday, noticed it has Tri-wing tips, and bought it. Well, I had to use this kit- for it's plastic spudges and tweezers! My mother has a Sandisk Sansa MP3 player, and it malfunctioned recently. The screen froze up, and although music would play, the screen wouldn't change to update what song was playing, and she couldn't turn the unit off. After looking it over and finding no hidden reset button, I set it on my rollaway work station to take it apart. I naturally reached for this kit, thinking there would be tiny screws. Nope. The MP3 player is housed in two plastic halves that snap together. Working carefully with two of the plastic spudges in this kit, I managed to cleanly pry the halves apart without breaking anything. Although the MP3 player's battery is hardwired to it's PCB, I simply desoldered the positive battery lead, using the tweezers in this kit, and resoldered it to reset the MP3 player. I'm happy because this kit gave me the means to repair something I normally couldn't have done on my own, and my mother is happy that she can keep using her venerable MP3 player (I'm not mocking her- I have a Sansa of my own!). So if you have even basic electronic knowledge and are willing to take some devices apart to try and repair them, this kit will be a huge boon in your tool arsenal!

I bought this tool set as a Christmas gift for my uncle , it has everything you would need for just about every application I like it so much that I’m actually gonna order another one for myself ! Great value !

Out the box review, not yet tested completely. Subject to change

Just received this item when i got home today and was excited to pop it open. First thing is first, the construction of the box is 100% plastic and is made quite well. When u open up the side with the bits and flip the bits completely upside down, nothing falls out and i am someone that appreciates bits that are seated properly. The covers close and secure properly and there doesn't seem to be any flaws with it. The box comes with a variety of precision tools that i will not go deep into but it also comes with 3 different types of triangular prying picks in a set of 2, a magnetizer/demagnetizer that i did test and can confirm it does work, a seuction cup with a free micro sim card ejector pin if you have long lost one for your phone, 3 plastic prying tools with curved tips, and a tweezer with very thing fine end that feels springy. The Bit Driver's size is close to most standard bit drivers of this type. It is NOT a racheting driver unfortunately but that doesn't make it a bad item. The socket to hold the bits is extendable however, i would use caution and would not recommended using extreme force to over torque as it has several sections where the metal i thinner. The grips on the driver and the overall feel is nice. I used to have a Kobalt racheting precision set that did not have any sort of grip and was too smooth and slick making it difficult to grasp while torquing so this design is a + for me. There are 2 more items in this box but i will likely not be testing them so i will not be commenting on them. Overall from the first look of it, I would recommend this. Its a great set to have and comes with many of the basic items you would need for electronic repairs. My only hope is that upon actual testing of the bit heads, they do not break/bend/chip due to weak construction or low quality metals. The only improvement i would wish for is a racheting function.

Little box, big purpose

Just got this set yesterday and finally found something that’ll work for my project!!!! I’m making resin art on naked wood boxes, and the little preset hinges and clasps are so different between brands that I already got a bunch of screw drivers from different places, and it wouldn’t fit the next box I found. Can’t resin over the hinges if I expect to sell these, so Amazon delivered this set in a day and a half, and my GOD! I had no idea it came with so many extras!!!!! The lightly magnetic pad is great. Holds my hinges and screws where I put them. The multiple (like, reeeeaaallllyyyyy multiple) sizes of heads for the tool is a bit overwhelming, but I was able to find the right fit after 1 attempt. It’s much easier to tell what shape you need in person compared to the online pics. Not sure what all the other stuff in the box is for, but I’m sure I’ll find out at one point. Never thought I’d need this as much as I do until I got it lol.

nice, inexpensive precision tool set; no instructions included

I ordered this precision screwdriver set because it seems like I am forever searching for an appropriate precision screwdriver for various repairs. This set comes with every screwdriver bit one could imagine along with a host of other tools to help replace batteries in electronic devices like tablets and smart phones. The bits seem strong enough for that type of duty. They fit into a magnetized holder which makes bit installation and removal very quick and easy. The driver handle is plastic and does not feel all that sturdy but is probably sturdy enough for jobs requiring a precision screwdriver. My biggest complaint with this set is there are no instructions to show how to make best use of all of the tools in this set. Even some basic instructions would have made it far more useful.

Extensive variety of precision bits and every tool you need

I’m loving this thing, more tools is never a bad thing. I begin looking at precision screwdriver kits when my old phone broke, but I never really decided on one until now. This kit comes with everything that you need to replace phone screens or parts and pretty much any smart phone that you have, it also comes with all the bits that you’ll ever need to work on your electronics. It has plastic pry tools, plastic pry bits, a flexible extension, and all the precision bits you’ll ever need. I especially like the magnetizing and demagnetizing tool that comes with it, because magnetized bits are not always what you need. Everything is labeled and neatly packaged and organized and my only regret is that I didn’t purchase this sooner!

A tip for every need.

Many more tips than I may ever need, but has so far has been very useful. Fits perfectly in the bottom of my laptop bag. Repaired several laptops with it.
